Fraud! They lied about the car having a lien never got the title and couldnt provide a copy of the bill of sale or any paperwork I signed. Then they claimed there was no penalty for paying the loan off early, well here i am getting penalized $1000 for trying to pay it all off. The communication was horrible. I also don’t know if they passed inspections and safety under the table because when i purchased the car it had a crack on the windshield they didn’t want to fix stating “it passed the inspection” wrong! I took it to anither place where they didnt even want to charge me to inspect the obvious safety issue with the crack going across the drivers side windshield! They also added a random warranty i had no idea about. According to them it was some kind of set interest with the bank but the lender denied that statement, then when i saw the breakdown of the charges the $2000 fee was for some kind of warranty in which the finance manager stated cane with the purchase of the car. Purchased a used car from Bommarito South County back in June. It’s now the middle of December and I still haven’t received by license plates for Illinois. The personal who deal with title and registration told me the title work was incorrect and they were going to fix it. Never heard back. Called several times and was told that the problem was resolved. But according to the Illinois DMV they never submitted any paperwork for the title and registration. I am completely disappointed with their front office and their inability to respond and help. They are basically criminals committing fraud selling me a car they didn’t have the title work for and then tried to blow me off hoping I would just give up. More
*Service center review only* I brought my vehicle here for simple oil change, tire rotation and emissions inspection. I ended up having to bring it back 3 times because the lug nuts were cross threaded on for simple oil change, tire rotation and emissions inspection. I ended up having to bring it back 3 times because the lug nuts were cross threaded on the stud. I attempted to call the service manager Kevin several times and did not receive a return phone call. After getting my vehicle repaired elsewhere, and having a lengthy, unpleasant conversation with Kevin, I was reimbursed most of my repair costs. I feel like I was not listened to when I asked if a different technician could attempt the repair and they could not use an impact wrench. In addition, I did not receive a call back when I attempted to resolve the issue early on with Kevin. Unfortunately, they have lost an almost decade long customer. FYI the service advisors I dealt with were nice and helpful, just tired of seeing me with the repeated same issue. This review does not reflect my opinion of the sales side of the dealership whom I did not deal with. More
Interesting how another review had a problem with Steve Hunter. Well, word to the wise stay away from both Hunters. Once they got their sell they were like see ya!! I’ve called many times about questions and my boyfriend has called and they never answered. We paid cash and they said cash doesn’t matter to us we get our money from finance. They shook on a deal and came back with the paperwork stating $500 more than agreed. I bought a vehicle from Bommarito Nissan and I would go back to them in a heartbeat. The guys at Bommarito Mazda are arrogant jerks. I can’t wait to fill out the review. We are kind people and treat others with respect. I have only ever given positive reviews for people because all we ever see is negative, so for me to write this review it is well deserved. More
We worked with Steve Hunter and he was incredibly condescending and sexist (focusing on my male partner and assuming things about my background/profession/car knowledge). I purchased my new CX30 on Saturday, Nov 28. the window sticker on the vehicle at the bottom states $440 credit for Bose stereo . ok, Bose stereo, un be known to me this $440 credit is for SXM r the window sticker on the vehicle at the bottom states $440 credit for Bose stereo . ok, Bose stereo, un be known to me this $440 credit is for SXM radio . Very very misleading. If my car has this verbiage on the window sticker THAN ALL Mazda's regardless of model have the same verbiage. I addressed this matter with Nancy O'Connor (my sales person) .First I had to let Nancy know, I was not angry with her, nor Bommarito Mazda south , I am angry with Mazda Corp for the misleading window sticker(s) Nancy calmed me down. she is a great asset to Bommarito Mazda . leasing from her was very easy/ painless and quite enjoyable. Nancy and the staff at Bommarito South are are in total agreement , that a course needs to be implemented , to let customers know, EXACTLY what is included , and not included on the widow sticker . Otherwise go see Nancy O'Connor at Bommarito Mazda South, she's a great lady and a lot of fun to work with. More
Walked in last Friday just to look on lunch hour. Worked with Brandon no hard sell what so ever. Let me drive the car no sweat. CX50 was in stock and available. I came and again no hard sell. Had trade in an agreed upon price in 10 minutes with no crazy back and forth. Fair deal on trade in and the car. Went to Financial consultant Sean. Again no hard sell for add on products but made options clear. Talked more about weight training that the car sale. Out tin 3 hours with new car. I hate buying cars with all the adversarial vibe but this was not that way at all. This was best car buying experience in 45 years of buying cars. thx guys More
I had my brakes replaced 8 months ago because my front wheels were wobbling badly. They said they did not feel any wobbling…. Later that day, Bommarito claimed that my pads and rotors were bad. Now I’m having the same problem once again and they say the brakes are bad again. 8 months later!?!?! In my 40 years of driving, I have NEVER had to replace brakes in 8 months. EVER!! Mazda brakes are supposed to have a lifetime warranty, according to Bommarito…. Apparently not. Terrible company to work with and terrible attitude from the service “specialist”. She was rude and acted as if she couldn’t care less about my issue. Our family will never buy a vehicle from Bommarito again OR use them for any type of service/repairs. Embarrassingly bad ALL AROUND…. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. More
If you are looking to buy a new car I would definitely go to Nancy at this location. This was the first car that I have ever bought and she made the process very easy and enjoyable.
