A Job Well Done! When negotiations with another Subaru dealership closer to home started to turn south I contacted several other dealerships requesting final out-the-d When negotiations with another Subaru dealership closer to home started to turn south I contacted several other dealerships requesting final out-the-door pricing for a 2016 Subaru Forester that included list of must have options. Brian Strahin with Bob Wade Subaru was quick to respond. Now in all fairness another dealership also responded quickly. However, Brian not only sent us the requested information he also helped to clairify the option packages. Not only was Bob Wade's pricing very competitive they also had the vehicle on the lot with our preferred color and with additional options without additional costs. They even offered to install the must have fog lights in the price. Due to the massive snow storm that hit the NE, it was a week before we could make it to the dealership to complete the paperwork and get our new Subaru. During the long wait Brian was in constant contact, pleasant and always quick to respond with any inquiries. The showroom is inviting and comfortable including a large gas fireplace! I didn't dare get too comfortable because it would have required a long nap! Brian gave us a tour of the building from the Service center to the waiting area. Folks were very pleasant! I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. Because the first dealership remained unwilling to agree to the terms unless we financed with Subaru Motor Finance, AFTER they had been informed from day one we were preapproved with our credit union at a special 1.90% APR, our willingness to walk away and contact Bob Wade Subaru, we came out with the car of our choice with more options for less money!! A win win experience. I began contacting dealer after dealer to determine who would best suit our needs as customers and who was willing to find the exact vehicle my wife wanted. Once I heard back from Bob Wade Subaru I felt this may be the place to purchase our vehicle from based on their prices, what I didn't initially know was that in the price quoted from Bob Wade we also got many other benefits that other dealers were not offering. I know knew that Bob Wade was going to be our place to purchase. After talking to our salesman Brian Strahin about exactly what we wanted, he managed to find it and hold it for us. Exceptional service after sale In December, I found a used truck that I liked on the Bob Wade website. I live in Chesapeake, Virginia which is more than 200 miles away. After reviewing Bob Wade's website, I saw that their reputation was impeccable. Derek Pyburn (Internet associate) and I negotiated price and we agreed on a price then I set out to Harrisonburg with my wife. Derek got me all set up with Chris Hyte (Sales associate). Upon arrival Chris had the truck running awaiting test drive as I informed them that I had to return to Chesapeake that night to work third shift. After the test drive, Marshall had us work through the paperwork in 20 minutes allowing us to get back on the road. The next day, the engine light came on, I called Chris to inform him and he directed me to take the truck to a repair shop that I felt comfortable with. The truck had an EGR issue that needed repair. Chris told Scott Elyard (General manager) and Scott spoke with my mechanic and gave repair authorization. The repair was over $1,400 and Scott made good and paid the bill. I was so impressed with Chris and Scott's integrity and genuine care for me and my situation. I love the truck and am happier than ever. Bob Wade is the best dealership that I have ever dealt with!
