On December 27th 2011 my husband and I drove into your dealership with the intent on purchasing a new Tacoma x-runner. Ryan Dockens showed us two, a black 2011 and a blue 2012 both almost identical with dealership with the intent on purchasing a new Tacoma x-runner. We spent several hours negotiating price and trade of our 2002 Tacoma. Met briefly with Rob Goodwin, who explained your new improved car buying experience and then met briefly with Verne Hilt. We then left at 2pm to get lunch and told them we would be back in two hours. With our decision made, the blue 2012 we headed back to your dealership with great anticipation of driving our new Tacoma x-runner home. We met with Ryan at 3.50pm, he informed us the blue 2012 was SOLD! traded to another dealership. My heart sank, why would you trade a truck under negotiation? Verne Hilt explains he maybe able to locate another one, after a wait, he returns saying quote" i have good news and bad news. Now from where I am sitting, still reeling from him selling MY new x-runner, what could possibly make a bad situation worse. He informs us that he has found eight and that we do not have to pay the transport fees etc......YOU THINK! My husband and I look at each other still in shock as to how he delivered that quote" good news bad news" and say ok get one. He then says it could be 10 days or more depending on who's willing to trade. Instead of driving out of your dealership behind the wheel of my brand new 2012 Tacoma x-runner, I left in my old 2002 Tacoma in tears and the words echoing in my head "good news bad news" and our new improved car buying experience. Well in MY opinion guys, it needs some work, maybe some customer focus! I'm STILL DRIVING my 2002 Tacoma........ need i say more! More

Tony Teshel was the salesperson I worked with. He was very friendly and patient, taking me on several test drives and explaining the vehicle's features thoroughly. I think the sales manager could have come down on price a bit more, but I still feel that I got a pretty good deal. After my initial visit I went to another Toyota dealer and actually found a slightly better price on a comparable vehicle, but chose to purchase with Bob Tyler due to their more professional and customer-friendly atmosphere.
