Bought a 2022 Carolla. Soon after that started getting a notice that I needed a service. It said my adaptive lighting had an issue. I took it in, first they said the couldn’t find anything wrong, second time they said my Sunpass transfer was in the way, third time once again no clue so they said an Engineer would need to see the car. So a week later I get the call. Hey, just want you to know we found the problem!! You don’t have adaptive lighting on that car! Wow, very poor mechanics if in 3 visits nobody could tell that my lights were not made to turn. I wasted a lot of hours on something they should have known immediately. Educated car technicians is a must!!!! I’m never taking my car there again More

Will not service Toyota purchased there. Dashboard says "Maintenance Required Visit Your Dealer". Is car safe to drive? They should not sell new cars they won't service. I have been having a problem with my Highlander intermittently being hard to start and cutting off so I took it to O'Reilly's Auto Parts, where we had received a battery replacement that was the mo intermittently being hard to start and cutting off so I took it to O'Reilly's Auto Parts, where we had received a battery replacement that was the most expensive they sold, over $300. They tested the battery, starter, and alternator which were working perfectly. Their battery was for a start/stop system. When I took it to Bob Tyler to do a diagnostic they said the battery was wrong for a start/stop system and that was my problem. I paid them over $300 for a new one. I went back to O'Reillys and they put the tester on the Toyota battery which came out to be the exact same battery as the O'Reilly battery. Now I do not know if my car is fixed or not. There is a recall on the fuel pump that we did not receive in 2020 so I am thinking that is my problem. I am very disappointed that they were this dishonest so I will not go back to Bob Tyler. I will take it to Eastern Shore Toyota the next time. Someone told me that they are very honest. I surely hope so because I hate to be lied to and taken advantage of and I feel this is what Bob Tyler has done. Now I will have to find out what this recall is on the fuel pump. More

Just traded in my 2010 Tundra for a new (to me) 2020 Tundra. My sales associate was Tony Teschel. "I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with this Toyota dealership. I waited for over three months for the vehicle to arrive, and when it finally did, I completed all the necessary paperwo with this Toyota dealership. However, just before the scheduled pick-up, the dealership unexpectedly canceled the deal without providing any explanation. This was an incredibly frustrating and upsetting experience, and I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. I was left without a vehicle and with no explanation as to why the deal was canceled after all the time and effort I put into the process. The lack of communication and transparency from the dealership was extremely unprofessional, and it left me feeling incredibly disappointed and dissatisfied. Overall, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The lack of respect for customers and their time is unacceptable, and I urge anyone looking for a Toyota dealership to look elsewhere." More
That place causes problems in your car. I asked to bleed my brakes and reset my electric emergency brake. They did NOTHING to my car but call me and tell me what they were going yo charge me. $ 800 plus bucks. Liars. I went to management and they yelled at me. I told them give me my bill( 360 bucks for NOTHING) AND GIVE ME MY KEYS. Took it to a mechanic and a 50 dollar bill fixed the bleeding of the brakes and reset my emergency brake. AND the guy who fixed it said Toyota did not even ATTEMP to do ANYTHING I asked them to do. NO caliber was broke. They wanted 400 for a new one that was NOT broke and they told me it was BUSTED. LIARS .THEIVES Im also reporting to BBB . DO NOT GO TO BOB TYLER FOR ANY REASON. FIND A SMALL BUSINESS WHO CARES. More
