I had purchased a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands on Long Island in late April. After driving it for a couple of days, my wife and I decided we didn't want to keep it. Our local dealers were offering in the Island in late April. After driving it for a couple of days, my wife and I decided we didn't want to keep it. Our local dealers were offering in the neighborhood of $37K, even though it could easily sell used for mid-40's. Carvana had offered $40K. I had listed my vehicle on autotrader.com and was contacted by Zoe Alexander, in vehicle acquisitions for Bob Ruth Ford, offering me either $39K or $40K. A week later, Zoe called again and told me that the market for this vehicle improved and she offered me $41,500 for the truck. The title arrived and I called Zoe to seal the deal. The there men who drove to Long Island from PA to inspect and pick up my Bronco Sport were pleasant and professional. The cashier's check from the credit union that they gave me cleared without incident. I watched their website and saw that they had listed the Bronco for $44,000. Within a day or two, the listing was taken down. Zoe confirmed for me that it had sold for $44,000. While other dealers were looking to hit a home run by lowballing me on their offers, Zoe offered me a fair amount for my vehicle and was satisfied knowing that they could turn it over quickly for a $2500 profit. In my opinion, both Bob Ruth Ford and I did well on our transaction. Thank you, Zoe, for offering me a fair amount for my vehicle! More

I called to find a 22 bronco and was told they had none. Like magic the next day one became available. The vehicle was on order and it had everything I wanted, so I placed a deposit at the end of April for Like magic the next day one became available. I received a receipt for the deposit, a copy of the window sticker, and was promised an invoice to include price, taxes, etc. Weeks passed and I would check in on the vehicle status. After reading about Ford dealers doing bait and switch games, whereby people with deposits and or orders are being charged more than agreed upon. I called this past Tuesday 5/24/22 to get the invoice I was promised. I talked to one of the sales managers who told me it was late in the day and promised it the following day. On 5/25, he called me to tell me he had bad news and that there was an error and the vehicle I put a deposit on was sold to another. He promised me access to the next Bronco, and I asked him if it would be priced at MSRP, like the last one, which he told me it would. Like magic on 5/26 a woman called to tell me they had another available unit. I asked to see the window sticker, and it was almost identical to the one I put the deposit on….but the car was now $10,000 more. I explained the prior issues, and the prior conversations and promises of the sales manager, she claimed ignorance. She transferred me to another manager, who also claimed ignorance. 5/27/22 I called and talked to the Manager I spoke to before, he told me that he can’t set pricing, but could now sell it at $5,000 over list. I asked to talk to the owner or who ever is the highest level person at the dealership, and was transferred to a rather arrogant guy named Dameon. He told me all dealerships are charging 10-20 thousand over list for available inventory, (sound like price fixing?)and that I turned down the 5,000 over list that the prior manager offered. I explained that I thought that we had a deal, that their integrity was suspect and at risk, that I was damaged as I sold my car because I thought we had a deal. Dameon could care less… Clearly this looks like bait and switch tactics. Clearly there is evidence I coordination with other dealers to set pricing on available inventory. My advice is pass on doing business with this dealership. More
