I went to Bob King Kia, in Winston Salem to look at a Kia Soul when I went to talk to Bullfrog, I never felt pressured or felt like they were pushing a car on me. Bought a used PT cruiser from Bob King Kia for our 16 year old son. went with this dealership over "mom and pops" for the same vehicle as they "thoroughly" check the vehicle ahead of year old son. went with this dealership over "mom and pops" for the same vehicle as they "thoroughly" check the vehicle ahead of time to make sure that it is of good enough quality to maintain their reputation. the car was sold without warranty and we did not buy the extended warranty because they had checked the vehicle. 6 weeks after purchasing the vehicle we get a code that the transmission needs to be replaced. So much for the service depat checking out the vehicle. the sales person David McDuffee even said that if something went wrong soon after that they would stand behing it. No issues with David other than he should not be writing checks that are not being stood behind. After the problem was diagnosed, my wife called and talked to JP Christy and he said that he would not do anything because we did not get the extended warranty....but seriously...... 6 weeks? we are going to be purchasing an SUV next spring and the Sorento is very high on our list. With this kind of treatment...not from Bob King!!!!! BTW......we were hesitant on buying a Chrysler product as we had very bad luck in the past with their products...but the price and mileage were right for the situation. Never buy a Chrysler product! It never ceases to amaze me how misleading many dealers can be. That was not the case at Bob King Kia. They were very straight forward and honest. Were very clear on what they could and could not do. It was actually refreshing. They had the car I was interested in. They understood that I would be an out of state buyer and did not try and do anything that would be a waste of time for either of us. And they negotiated to a fair price on the vehicle. My experience in picking up the car was just as positive and refreshing. Jeremiah Minton was my sales rep and a joy to deal with. I have new faith in car buying after years of avoiding he experience. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Bod King Kia !!!!!!!! Well Done !!!! More
