Bob Brown had my vehicle 2 times, for a total of 27 days to fix what a text from Shane said is "a $22 sensor" What Bob Brown and Shane have forgotten is it's not just a $22 sensor. It's piece of mind, it's a relationship, it's having a reliable vehicle for this mom to get to and from a job that makes ends meet. It's putting your trust in a company that they have your family, your job, and your piece of mind at heart. I will be picking up my vehicle this morning, against my wishes. I was hopeful that they would buy the vehicle back so I can take my business elsewhere, but they are not willing to do that, nor are they willing to trade for a comparable vehicle so I can have an ounce of trust in the vehicle (and the company) that supports my family and gets my children to and from their daily activities. ** If you are thinking about buying a vehicle here, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND researching the PCV issues with GM products)** I posted reviews on multiple websites on 1/15 and that prompted Shane to reach out and ask me to remove them. I removed them hopeful that they would be willing to work with me. Their resolution is to make a loan payment for me for the time that I was making payments but didn't have the vehicle in my possession (2 monthly payments, I will update if this happens) Below is the review of Bob Brown and his staff. ****** I bought a 2023 Chevy Blazer on 11/11/24 (it's still under full warranty). The SES light came on 12/7/24. I took the vehicle to O'Reilly's and had it scanned to see what was wrong before I called Bob Brown's. It scanned that it has an issue with the crankshaft sensor. I called BBs (Bob Brown's), told them what the scan said and made an appointment. They got my vehicle in on 12/18, and gave me a loaner. I left the scan sheet on the passenger seat so they could see it. When I picked up the car on 12/24 I asked what was fixed and the lady said "the purge pump was faulty". I don't know a whole lot about vehicles, I assumed that it was part of the crankshaft, and I left. By the time I got back to Altoona (about 15 miles away) the SES light was back on. I called BBs and let them know my SES light was back on. Per their request, I had my vehicle scanned again. The scan came back with the EXACT same code as 12/7. I called back and told them that it was the same thing that I just had it in for. They asked if I could return my vehicle again. I brought it back to BB on 12/27. On News Year's Eve BB called me and let me know that the plates on my loaner vehicle were going to expire January 1st (the next day), and that I needed to bring my loaner vehicle in that day to get new plates. I told him that there was a 100% chance that that wasn't happening, they had the entire year to plan this, and if they would have fixed it correctly the first time, I wouldn't have a loaner anymore. They did make arrangements to deliver the plates to my house after I questioned their lack of organization. Heads up, if you purchase from BB, they are unorganized and they do not listen to their customers. I guess I'm thankful that they discovered something else was wrong with my vehicle (the purge pump) so it was fixed. I would go out of my way to avoid BB for new or used vehicles. More

He was able to graciously answer all my questions, from the condition of the car to sending out the paperwork. He was also very accommodating, being that I am out of state, he let my friend inspect the car on my behalf and bring the car to BMW of Des Moines for a pre-purchase inspection. Needless to say, I purchased the car and got the vehicle shipped. Jamie Scott made this experience very easy and stress-free. There was no pressure involved whatsoever. He was honest, upfront, kind, and understanding of all my questions, concerns, and requests. Jamie, Joe, and Tim, Thank You for making this a pleasant experience. More

Walked in on a Friday morning not expecting to find a truck I like. Walked out a couple of hours later with exactly what I was hoping to find. The process was just simple... shared what I was looking for... test drove... talked about adding a few accessories... came to terms on a number (quickly and painlessly)... signed the paperwork... drove away happy! Joe and the team treated me with respect. They have my business moving in the future! Thanks! More

I told myself… I will never go back there again and I will tell anyone who asks to go to any dealership but there! I found a vehicle online through Car Gurus recently that I automatically fell in Love with! I followed the link over to the dealer it was located at after requesting more information! The disappointment I felt when I realized what dealer it was at had my stomach hitting the floor! Scott Hampe started reaching out trying to give more information on the vehicle. I’m not going to lie, due to my previous experience I ignored the outreaching for two weeks! Scott Hampe continue to politely email asking where I was in my car buying experience and if I was still in search he would love to help and would do anything to earn my business! I finally gave in and set up an appointment to see the vehicle in person and to speak with Scott! I am 1000% GLAD I Did! Scott Hampe is Beyond Polite, Is NOT Pushy at ALL, Listens to your needs, And Let’s You be In Control of Your Car Buying EXPERIENCE! I’m not going to say I recommend the dealership, However I Will 10,000% Recommend the Sales Person! Scott Hampe is THE PERSON you want to deal with! Bob Brown, Scott Hampe is the ONLY REASON I gave you another chance! I’m glad I did and as long as you have him a Sales Contact you guys will continue to have my reference and my business! Horrible dealership. The sales lie. I bought multiple cars from them in the last 4yrs. From the same salesman even. He turned yellow on me. Ignoring my offer on a truck. The sales lie. I made my offer on line. I put my offer in at the beginning of the week. On Friday he told me the truck SOLD. Then on Monday I look on line and the truck is there still. Later that afternoon I looked again to see if it was still on line. They dropped the price of the truck that afternoon! That tells me the truck is still there!...Maybe a little consideration for a "Repeat" customer? I bought 3 vehicles from them in 4yrs!!! Talked my brother into buying one there also! Pretty cheap blow Logan! More
The customer service was overall horrible. They wanted us to sign paperwork on the vehicle before seeing it and we had to wait 1 1/2 hrs when we had a scheduled time to come and see it. Everything was rushed and they couldn't even offer water or coffee to us. I felt since I was buying used, I wasn't good enough. They said they would follow up with us after we bought it and haven't heard from them since then. For a Chevrolet Dealer, we will not be going back to buy from them again. More
