Tammy the service representative was kind and pleasant. However I dropped my truck off on Wednesday, May 31st expecting it to be 2 days max before I could pick it up. By Friday, June 2nd of not hearing b However I dropped my truck off on Wednesday, May 31st expecting it to be 2 days max before I could pick it up. By Friday, June 2nd of not hearing back about the truck I had to call in and inquire that afternoon. Was advised there is an inquiry in by the mechanic with the tech department to determine why the brake lights are on. So, I thought ok maybe another day or so. A week later and no follow up calls about the truck. I again had to call in and inquire about the truck on Wednesday, June 7th advising that I had expected a two day max but now I must come get the truck regardless since it’s my ranch truck and everything has come to a halt at the ranch due to not being able to pick up feed for livestock, unable to purchase more fencing from trees downed on the fence from a Saturday (June 3rd) night storm among a plethora of other needs. Was told the brakes are fine, they can’t find the reason for the noise (clicking underneath) after removing the driveshaft and replacing it but did find a bad wire in one of the rear wheels and that the part was in stock and would be ready to be picked up that same day. I got a ride and drove over to another business near Ray Brandt so I would be nearby when I got the call that it was ready to be picked up. I again called around 5:35pm to inquire and was told by the phone operator that the service department closed at 5:30pm and all service reps were gone for the day. So here I go having my ride take me back to Pass Christian on the other end of the coast and drop me off at home. The next morning another call to the dealership revealed the truck had been ready by 5pm that previous day and that a call was placed to me, they said it rang twice then went to voicemail. Granted there were no missed calls from Ray Brandt or any other numbers on my cell and there was no message left on my voicemail. I was able to get someone and a second person to pick up my truck because I could not leave work to do so again. The wire on the rear wheel and labor came to a total of roughly $416 and some change which is not a big deal and glad my brakes were fine and happy the wire replacement caused the ABS and non slip lights to go off. It’s was just a frustrating experience that I had not experienced before when bringing my truck there to be serviced. Communication is key to a successful business. Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience and hope it will help with placing communication between customers and the dealership employees as a top priority.
