Their about like the rest, nothing stands out to make a difference. If they started to offer significant discounts for the senior citizens I believe it would speak to not only the seniors but to their chil difference. 2/21/23 I called Blake Ford of Franklin VA inquiring about a 2022 Ford F-250 crew cab service truck, stock #22157, to see if the item was available. It was available, so I asked if I could start the pro about a 2022 Ford F-250 crew cab service truck, stock #22157, to see if the item was available. It was available, so I asked if I could start the process of purchasing the vehicle. He informed me that he would have to call me back on 2/23/23, because he was leaving for the day and he was off tomorrow. I was disappointed at the fact it was going to take so long to get a call back from him, I decided to go online and request a call back about stock #22157 for the next day. 2/22/23 9:15am A woman from the dealership called me in regards to stock number #22157. She told me that it was still available and confirmed some details for me. At that point, I asked about purchasing and or putting down a deposit for the vehicle. While she was preparing for the purchase of the vehicle, she informed me the price was actually $10,000 more because the accessories were not included in the listed price. I explained to her it clearly stated, on all websites, the accessories were included. She did not have any answers for me and referred me to her sales manager, Eric. He never responded to any calls or text messages. 1:52pm I arrived at the dealership, and I was greeted by a female sales person who told me the truck was in their system and that it was still available. When we went to look at the truck, the sales manager Eric, explained that he just sold it a few hours earlier. Apparently, he sold it to a person who brought a trade in. After he informed me that the truck was sold, he explained that the listing was incorrect and that the price was $15k more expensive. Then he proceeded to try and sell me a smaller service truck that didn’t fit my needs and was more expensive than stock #22157. At this point, I was frustrated because I felt like this was a bait and switch situation and accused Eric of such. Eric revealed that they knew the listing was incorrect and did not bother to take the listing down while trying to address the issue. He replied with, “It’s common practice to list cars at MSRP without their accessories added to the listing price”. Being frustrated with the fact they sold the vehicle from under me, and not wanting to waste the 1.5 hour drive, I decided to look around. I came across a USED vehicle on their lot that I was interested in. It was going to need some added accessories to suit my needs. They offered to sell me this used vehicle at a higher price than a new service truck. 2/23/23 Still being disappointed at the fact that Blake Ford doesn’t value their customers or their own integrity. I continued my search for a service truck and to my surprise I came across listing #22157 at Blake Ford of Franklin VA again. Today, it is listed $16,000 more then the original $51,000 that was listed just the day before. I call the dealership to see if stock #22157 was available, the man confirmed and said he is looking at it. I texted Eric to ask if it was still available and got no response. I’m very disappointed that they lied about the price and the availability of the truck. It was also disappointing that they didn’t try to redeem themselves and give me any options to meet them in the middle, as I do understand that mistakes happen. Instead they threw their integrity, morals and values out the window. In closing you can’t trust Blake Ford of Franklin VA they don’t have any values and guiding principals you won’t be anything more than cash them. More
