This was the best experience I’ve had while buying a vehicle. Everyone is so friendly when you walk through the doors making it a comfortable environment to be in. Ed Marks & Wesley Anderson pulled the proverbial rabbit out of the hat for my mom's 2017 Edge. I don't know how they do it ... SMOKE & MIRRORS? The salesman was working with 3 people at one time, very understaffed. We felt rushed in the whole ordeal and we drove 4 hours to them. They sold the car without a headrest and it took 3 people and 2 months to receive it after assuring that they would do so. We felt pressured to take a car loan instead of paying cash (what we intended to do) and misrepresented that the loan interest was free for 30 days. After we paid it off within 30 days, we were still charged interest. They remedied this by reimbursing the cost to us after we paid it first. I realize that we had the choice in payments, but it was presented as "we would be helping them out, and would not cost anything extra." They did not negotiate on the listed price at all. They were to do a paint repair job and it took 2 weeks longer than promised. Please watch the monetary figures when getting the deal with them, as the first offer was actually higher than discussed. Buyer beware! More
Lost its small town feel! ! Not the same dealership! Because of its service and respectful attention to customers, we’ve been with Blake Ford for a lot of years, and have ref ! Not the same dealership! Because of its service and respectful attention to customers, we’ve been with Blake Ford for a lot of years, and have referred Blake to many people — no more! The current Blake staff behind the counter seems uncaring, and is unprofessional in appearance and behavior. Customers seem to be part of an “assembly line”! Our substantial bill was handed to us without any comment from the staff or the mechanic. The ONLY communication from the staff was the Service Manager (our previous and loved diesel mechanic) when the truck was delivered and service was discussed. Last winter, our service at Tamiani Ford in Naples FL, a much larger dealer, was very professional. The staff and mechanics under Blake’s original owner were warm, caring, respectful and professional in ALL regards. On to phones: Why does a small town dealer have to use an automated phone service?!? This only adds to complaints as EVERYONE hates not having a warm body answer the phone! So — as we said before, the new ownership at Blake Ford is out to lunch! Someone needs to remind them that they are in the country and in a small town! More
