We found Bill Penny Toyota on the internet (as we live in TN) and were not familiar with them at all or their reputation for that matter. We dealt with Timmy Richardson and had an absolutely trouble & stress TN) and were not familiar with them at all or their reputation for that matter. My Husband & I have purchased several cars over the years, some even sight unseen as we did this one, but never had we had such a pleasureable experience as this! Timmy is a true gentleman and man of his word most importantly. When we arrived to the dealership, we felt as if we were seeing and old friend. No pressure, no sales tactics. Just plain old fashioned honesty and dignity (which is rare now a-days!). Then we met Andy the Finance Manager, another fantastic experience, it was just a class act all the way around. These guys know the meaning of customer service and genuinely take an interest in you and your purchase. I would HIGHLY recommend calling Timmy Richardson for your vehicle needs, rest assured you will be in good hands & not disappointed! More

It was a true pleasure working with Matthew. I am very happy driving my 2012 Camry SE. I love the car, the color, everything about it and it is perfect for me. We were pre-approved for an auto loan - went to the dealership to test drive a Tacoma and loved it! Darrell and the sales manager worked with us to get the price where we needed it and we are happy rep dealership to test drive a Tacoma and loved it! The service department has great hours and it is so easy to get in and out any time for routine service....we have never had a problem so can't rate the major repair service issues - - don't think you will need it. I have been to Bill Penney Toyota for the second time now. I came to buy a very specific truck (used Toyota Tacoma)and we(my husband and i) pulled up and no one came out for a few minutes. We test drove the truck, in the meantime they inspected my new 2011 Jeep Wrangler, and we decided to pursue the truck because I liked it. We went in to the salesman's office and he left to get an offer for us on the jeep. He came back with an offer for 3-4,000 less than what it is worth / and have since been offered more elsewhere. I said that the figure was to low, so he jumped up and said "Sorry, thats it, let me show you the door and i will get your Jeep." What's sad is that this is the 2nd time that has happened there. All other dealers I have been to are glad to negotiate and help get what I/they feel is a fair price, but this place treated me as if they didnt need my business period! Twice! I never even met the manager before we were rudely ushered to the door. I also did a phone survey because I was on the preferred customer list, and I never have had the chance to buy anything there? I told the survey company that it was horrible and never heard back after I was told I would, more than likely. I then emailed the used sales manager and explained everything and he never emailed or called back! Seems to me I just wasnt good enough to do business with? I hope more people do not experience the same thing I did... More
