This was the worst car purchasing experience I've had. The sales people open faced lied to us 5 times (that we know of). They said we could pay portion on a credit card (up to 2500), (NOT TRUE), th had. The sales people open faced lied to us 5 times (that we know of). They said we could pay portion on a credit card (up to 2500), (NOT TRUE), they said deposit would hold car up to 30 days (NOT TRUE - called us 2 days later and demanded we buy before end of month), they said car had 30 day warranty and we would get all info on it when we paid (NOT TRUE - we were told smugly by manager as we were leaving after paying that BMW make cars didn't fall under their used car 30 day warranty), and on and on. We left, the car had a bulge in tire, they said they'd replace it as a courtesy (NOT TRUE- We were just put on hold, call transferred and on and on. We just bought a new tire, sucked up our losses and will NEVER deal with them again. All other car dealerships I've dealt with in Huntsville (Landers McLarty, VW and BMW) have been professional, honest and sincere. Bill Penney made the whole experience a nightmare. Both managers we spoke with (once about the deposit, once about the warranty) were bully-ish and smug. Dreadful experience. I wouldn't buy a car from them in the future if it was free! Lol. More

Sales staff was very friendly, not pushy or overbearing. Had to haggle a bit on the trade-in value, but that is to be expected. The salesman was even willing to go 25 miles away to obtain needed signatures! Would recommend Bill Penny Toyota any day. More
Went to Bill Penney to buy the high-end RAV4 but they did not have one in stock. Salesperson, Greg, convinced me that I could still get the remote start with one model down - installed within a week. 3 month not have one in stock. Salesperson, Greg, convinced me that I could still get the remote start with one model down - installed within a week. 3 months go buy and after a total of 3 days without a car and 2 2-hr waits, I finally get the remote start installed. Catch? Once remotely started, the remote door unlock feature is disabled so in order to get into the back seat, I have to manually unlock the front door, open it, unlock the back door - all while holding child/groceries/etc, rendering the "remote start" completely useless. When I complained, the sales director said "please come see me and we'll make it right". After an hour and a half of waiting, he comes to me saying "we will make this right at only an $8,000 loss to you"! So instead of making it right by fixing my car to the way it was agreed to be when I purchased the vehicle, he says he'll trade-in my car for $8,000 less than I paid in order to get the high-end version. Why did he waste my time to begin with just to slap me in the face? This was not what the agreement when I purchased my car and I would never recommend for anyone to buy a vehicle from Bill Penney Toyota as they refuse to give me the remote start that I asked for (one that is useful). More

I really enjoyed working with Dalton good customer service. He keep me interested in what kind of car I wanted that was more affordable for me.
