Excellent buying experience I have bought two new cars from Bill Penny Toyota in Huntsville in the last 6 months, both from Mr. Fred Williams. Fred proved to be knowledgeable abo I have bought two new cars from Bill Penny Toyota in Huntsville in the last 6 months, both from Mr. Fred Williams. Fred proved to be knowledgeable about the product and expedient, but thorough with the entire buying process. My wife and I have 5 more children to buy cars for, so we will be returning to Fred in the near future to help us with our purchases. Mr. Penney is building a dealership that people leave feeling happy with their purchase instead of wondering what just happened. Everybody was friendly, honest and upfront. useless to make a service appointment Had an appointment for service, be there at 8 a.m., only had to have the tires put on new wheels. Shouldn't have taken longer than an hour. No one would tell me why or when it would be done. I will think twice before I use Bill Penney Toyoto Huntsville, AL for service again. 5 hour! How many 8 a.m. appointments do they make for one day? We'd visited another dealership (not Toyota) that didn't want to work with us... they said we could only get into a car for what we were wanting to spend. But we WANTED a small SUV (and I was already highly interested in RAV4). We should have come here in the first place. They worked with us to get us manageable payments in the vehicle WE wanted, not just whatever vehicle they wanted to promote. Very patient and helpful. We will be back down the road! More

Went in on Saturday to find a 2011 Tundra V8 (requirement), 4x4 (requirements), less than 100K miles (80K). Exactly what I asked for. Because they keep their site so up-to-date, we were confident, when we saw a fairly-recent Camry within our budget, that we'd be able to find it on the lot--if we hurried! Sure enough, we did--along with several similar models at similar sweet prices. Almost as soon as we decided which car we'd like to test drive first, Trell arrived to help us. And he was *wonderful* help. Answering all of our questions, volunteering information we hadn't thought to ask after, always listening to learn what our needs and priorities were so he could show us cars that could meet them, Trell & everyone in the financing department made our car buying experience clear and easy. I hope we don't need another car soon, but if we do, I know exactly where we'll go. More
Late Night Car Purchase My husband and I visited this dealership to test drive a new Corolla. We ended up purchasing vehicle from Aaron Strom and counldn't be happier. We had not planned on puchasing that night but we were given such wonderful service from Aaron and ended up getting such a good deal that we decided to go ahead and purchase. This is the fourth vehicle that we have purchased from this dealership. I had always dealt with Tommy Terrell who is now retired but Aaron was a wonderful young man to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and very courteous especially considering that we were there so late. And trust me my husband is a hard person to deal with but he was impressed with Aaron and the whole staff at Bill Penney. It's nice to be treated as well as we were and not just feel like we were another sale under their belt. More
BILL PENNEY IS A JOKE Bill Penney is a joke. From the time I walked in until today (6/3/15) has been nothing but lie after lie after lie. It all started the day of the pu Bill Penney is a joke. I kept asking the salesman and his buddy what my interest rate was. Nobody knew. They don't tell us that info. Well go talk to the person that does know because I want to know. Asked 3 or 4 times. No interest rate. Should have left then. I know the interest rate determines your payment. We finally settled on 579 and a 1000 down. Both parties agreed. Get in with Victor the finance manager. Signing the paperwork and he slides a 590 and sum change payment my way. I told him no no no. That's not what we agreed on. He stated that they couldn't get the payment there. Should have left then. I asked him that not what they told me. They had everything figure out and on paper. Victor said, they were wrong. You wont know your payment until you submit your application and get the interest rate. Should have left again. That's why when I asked for the interest rate they couldn't give it to me. He, Victor finally made it right only after I asked for my car to be brought around. Then, on top of that, I was going thru all my paperwork and I seen this paint protection for 600 dollars. YouTube it and seen what it was. Look at the truck and it wasn't on there. I called my salesman and told him. He told me to bring it by. Several people looked at it and determined it was taken off. I'm sure they think I took whatever they xxxx they call themselves looking at and for off. We went to the service department and a few more people looked at it. Left my name and number for the service manager to call back. It's 5:45 and no call. I wanted some running board on the vehicle. Called several times but couldn't get thru so I went online and left my information for a call back on the price and installation of the running boards. Later that morning I got someone in parts to answer. They gave me the price of the running boards 499.00 and then transferred me to service. Told me it was a 3 hour installation drilling was required and it would be 3 hundred and 15 or 20 dollars. Not sure of the exact price. Get a call this morning from the service department about the online information I put in. Told me it would 142.50 to install the running boards. I asked the salesman could they just get the running boards instead of them just putting the 600 dollar plastic back on there. He said no. After all this xxxxxxxx, the lies and the run around, do you see why I have nothing for Bill Penney Toyoto. I will Never EVER own another Toyoto. More

We found staff to be friendly, but not in a used-car-salesman-kind-of-way! We would definitely return, though purchasing our used Honda, we don't plan on needing a reliable car any time soon! More
