My 3 year battery in F 150 went bad. It was put in in august 2024, barely lasted one and a half year. This was the third battery. I paid for the first one, didn’t last. That one didn’t last either. Each time I asked them to see if there’s something draining it and said nothing is. They replaced the second one free of charge and it didn’t last. Like I said only lasted half of the warranty. They told me that the warranty reverts back to the first one so I’m to pay well over $200 for a new one. Said I don’t drive the truck enough to charge it. Never had that problem with all my vehicles. Think the battery they use are junk. I left with my one and half year battery and will never go back. Sad part is I bought the truck there! More

Stopped in today today to drive a Bronco 2-door to see if I liked it as much as I do looking at them on the road. Chase Jones (my son) at Grove City Ford referred me there since they didn't have any 2-door B I liked it as much as I do looking at them on the road. He gladly let me test drive a gorgeous Velocity blue 2024 with only 2k miles that they recently acquired. The vehicle was impressive and so was Darien. I have always purchased our cars from McCandless Ford. I will not be getting another one there. The cars have been great. The service has gone downhill. I get my cars back with grease and oil marks on I will not be getting another one there. The cars have been great. The service has gone downhill. I get my cars back with grease and oil marks on the headliner, the sun visor and the side pillar. With my last two oil changes on different vehicles I have been told I needed service work. I told them I would do the work myself. Imagine my disappointment when I got home and checked the issues only to discover that the work did not need done. This has happened numerous times in the last couple of years. I have no idea if the mechanics are behind these issues or the service manager. I am leaning toward the latter. I had purchased a 2015 Lincoln in Sharon while in a bind for another vehicle. The one I purchased ended up with Transmission problem. Of course the place that I bought it did not work on Lincolns. I ende for another vehicle. The one I purchased ended up with Transmission problem. Of course the place that I bought it did not work on Lincolns. I ended up with towing bills for two places and I was told right up front from John Hoover that it would probably be at least 3 or 4 weeks. I okayed the repair and with all the COVID restrictions I knew it would be more than 3 or 4 weeks. I did not call them because I really felt that they were giving me good service. John did call me to tell me that I was the next one in line and I thanked him and I told him that GOOD things were worth waiting. I was informed in about a week that my vehicle was ready for pickup. They had to put in a NEW complete Transmission and that it was under Warranty. They checked the Battery and I told them to replace it. When I arrived to get my vehicle I was immediately welcomed by the receptionist and John and another person. I had to wait for about 30 minutes for the replacement of the battery and the waiting room was very clean and comfortable. I have seen some very crude waiting rooms and heir Tv's were not working. I have a 2011 Ford Ranger with about 58,000 miles long bed and I will be replacing it in a year or two and you can bet it will be from McCandless FORD in Mercer, Pa.
