Before picking up my car today the Service department sent email of a check list of multi point inspection. Unfortunately, most if not all of the information was inaccurate and clearly just a form letter sent email of a check list of multi point inspection. Unfortunately, most if not all of the information was inaccurate and clearly just a form letter. This I know from my recent service record which reflects when and what was done. and The Service Department assessment is complete nonsense. So the question is “why bother” sending it out. People still read emails right? My second question is “what if something were really wrong with the car” and the inspection was bogus? Frankly, I’m disappointed because as much as I’d like to fulfill my service contract at Bill Kolb Subaru my family and friends look at me like I’m crazy doing business with them after hearing of these incidents and having moved on after having had many similar experiences of their own at the Bill Kolb Service Department. It’s really a shame. It absolutely must be mentioned that the folks working the front desk at the service department do a great job, are friendly and long-suffering considering the embarrassment they face daily having to peddle a inferior business ethic. Kinda rough review huh? Sorry, it just had to be said. MB More
