I already test drove a similar vehicle at my nearby dealership, but held back because of their absurd pricing. Not only did it have a sticker price of $34,999. but they also wanted to charge an additional hidden fee of $1,000 for paying in full cash, before taxes and registration! This is when I stumbled upon Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru. Not only did they have no hidden fees or absurd pricing policies, but right from their website I could see exactly how much the out-the-door price would be after taxes and registration! Not only did the Forester come out to $6,000 less than the dealership than me, but it was two years newer and had 20,000 less miles! I called, and was greeted by an outstanding sales representative, Howard Bonfield. He was able to answer and address all my questions about buying out-of-state, regarding plates, registration, etc-- informing me that they would take care of it all! Because I did not want to make the long commute more than once, he completed an in-depth inspection on the exterior and interior on my behalf, and affirmed me that it was in pristine condition. Placed a deposit on the phone, and two days later I arrived for my appointment to purchase. Took a look at the vehicle myself, and it was indeed in the perfect condition he described. In under 2 hours we completed all of the necessary paperwork and I drove out the lot a happy customer!
