I don't think the technician who did the service have passion for the job he is doing. I ask some questions and I got standard answers without helping me understand. Bought my 2017 Crostrek here and got the usual hard sell to buy the extended warranty and was told that I could only buy it at the time of purchase and it was expensive. After some haggling they reduced the to buy the extended warranty and was told that I could only buy it at the time of purchase and it was expensive. After some haggling they reduced the price by a few hundred and told that this was the absolute best price and could only buy the warranty right then and there. I declined and a few minutes later got another hard sell with the same story. Guess what? Every year for 5 years I get offers from subaru to purchase the same extended warranty that the dealer sales people told me I could only get at the time of purchase. This is why many of us hate the car buying experience. My next car will be a Tesla so I can just go to the website and pick out what I want and I am done. Regarding the Service Department, I brought my Crosstrek in for an inspection, oil change and to check out a rattle in the front driverside area. I notified within the hour (pretty quick) that the oil change and inspection were done but I needed 6 other critical things done and they couldn’t find the rattle. Maybe 2 of the 6 things really needed to be done but the other stuff was the typical over priced $59 air filter, $39 engine air filter, etc. and was not really necessary. The main thing that bothered me the most was that they didn’t even call me to ask for more information on how to find the rattle that was the most important thing I brought the car in for in the first place. They just wanted to sell me the 6 bogus service items, get their commission and move on. I do not recommend this place for purchasing or servicing cars. More

I had the best experience at a dealership that I haven’t had in a long time. Everyone at Bill Kolb Jr Subaru was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable but Howard was the greatest from start to finish.
