My salesperson, Gary Mendelsohn was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the car I was interested in. I was never pressured during our negotiations. When I took delivery of my vehicle, Gary spent significant time with me, going over all of the features of the car and assuring me that he is always available to answer any questions I might have in the future. The payment process was organized and simple. Finance manager was also excellent. I live in NJ so sales tax is adjusted and fees are less here. Highly recommend this dealership. More

My salesman, Holman Cano, listened to my needs and then helped me find the vehicle that was right for me - given my price constraints and wants. Holman worked closely with Chris Flood and Paul Spiegel in Financing so that the 2014 Forester (with only 50K miles!) could be mine. I have bought several cars over the years, including vehicles from Volkswagen, BMW and Acura, and this was, hands-down, the best car buying experience of my life. The entire process was quick, completely transparent and hassle free. A bit of a random note, I'd also like to mention that I'm a bit obsessed with cars and I always ask my salesperson what they drive on the test drive and Larry is the first, literally the first, to tell me that he owns / daily drives a Subaru. The fact that he believes in the product that he sells so much that he bought it for himself speaks volumes to me. My First Subaru I had done my research and knew exactly which model I preferred. When I went into Bill Kolb Jr Subaru, no one greeted me. I asked if someone could help me but it seemed everyone was expecting a client. My first impressions weren't favorable. Finally I was introduced to Sonny and he was amazing. Unfortunately, when I arrived early for our next appointment, he was with another client and he kindly introduced me to Richard K. I was in great hands! Richard was patient, answered all of my questions clearly and allowed me plenty of time to test drive two different models. He found a new car being delivered within the month and the deal was set. When it arrived (the next day!) Richard once again took the time to explain every feature on my new Subaru. The paperwork was finished quickly and I drove away in just over an hour. I would recommend this dealership (and especially Richard or Sonny). More

Preowned WRX STI Made the drive up from Manhattan to see a 2018 STI Limited after the "virtual" assistant told me it was available. Got to the dealership, met with Bob Made the drive up from Manhattan to see a 2018 STI Limited after the "virtual" assistant told me it was available. Got to the dealership, met with Bob A, and found this car was already sold. I was also looking at a similar '18 WRX Limited as well, but come to find out both had "branded" titles. Bob took me on a test drive of the '18 anyway and we discussed what I was looking for. While we weren't able to find me anything immediately, shortly after leaving, Bob called and let me know about another '18 STI that just came in. Took a quick look and due to it being a customer return, I couldn't test drive but it had everything I wanted, so came back and made a deal. It did take 2 weeks for the title to clear on the return, but delivery of the car was smooth and painless. While the entire experience here has been different than the luxury dealerships I've worked with in the past (think no back and forth with sales managers, no wasted trips, no aimlessly waiting, phone calls verses just using email!) it all worked out and for those that are used to this type of buying experience, most would say it was good. Either way, the car is flawless and I appreciate the help getting me into it. More

Most other locations put a lot of sales pressure on me and were more concerned with making a sale than helping me as a customer. Howard was extremely patient and understanding about my situation. He answered my questions and took care of insurance and registration, making it extremely painless for me. Not once did I feel pressured into the buy or like I was being taken advantage of. Paul in Finance was also very helpful and understanding and realistic about my financial options. Overall, I am very happy with both my purchase and my experience with Howard Bonfield and Paul Spiegel, and the rest of the staff at Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new vehicle. More
