Best in Chicagoland I lived in Naperville for 15 years but for the past 5 years in Chicago. I drive 35 miles each way for service at Bill Jacobs. Having been a customer for 20 years I couldn't always say that I would have recommended the dealership but today I can recommend the quality of the service department without reservations. More

David was very thoughtful, attentive, and together with our Service Technician clearly pointed out the issues with our car, how they would fix, and the estimated costs. They were also able to address most of our car's issues through our CPO Warranty, which was great. Excellent service, a courteous and extremely knowledgable staff and their huge stock of loaner BMWs (at approximately 125 cars, making it very easy to schedule a convenient appointment) puts them at the top of the list. Great service, great loaner car for free and pricey repair If you own BMW past 50K miles be prepared for some repairs. Repairs on expensive import cars from Germany are expensive too but that's the price that If you own BMW past 50K miles be prepared for some repairs. Repairs on expensive import cars from Germany are expensive too but that's the price that you pay for driving expensive German imports past the 50K miles. Especially if you want repairs to be made in Bmw dealerships with genuine Bmw parts. Service was punctual and fast. Free loaner was a brend new, 2016 Bmw sedan. Service associate Mo is courteous, professional and knowledgable. The repair was done in the same day and it was not that simple, all coils and all plugs plus flush and decarbonization had to be done. Dealership had all the parts in stock which is often not the case with Indy repair shops. Car drives like a new now. They gave me 2 years warranty on repair too which is not bad either. Expensive but that's what it is when you want your Bmw to be taken care by Bmw dealership and to enjoy professional service in an upscale and modern facility such as Bill Jacobs dealership. No complaints. More
Lack of support after the sale! In September my wife purchased a "NEW" 2015 X1 with 10k miles on it. Fully inspected so we were told by BJ service staff. We test drove the unit and m In September my wife purchased a "NEW" 2015 X1 with 10k miles on it. Fully inspected so we were told by BJ service staff. We test drove the unit and made the purchase, trading in our 2013 328ix. After a bit of driving the vehicle we started to notice a pull in the front end,. like it was out of alignment. Some time passed we left the country for a couple of weeks and upon our return after driving for a couple of weeks started to notice the pulling to be a bit worse. We have owned the vehicle less than 90-days and put less than 3,000 miles on it but, were told by the service tech, the only way it could be inspected and/or serviced for an alignment was with a charge of $299. Called another dealership who told us they would only charge $189, also a local independent who would charge $129 and offer a free inspection. After becoming a bit upset I called back and spoke with Karen in service (she said the service mgr. was tied up and could not speak to me). So I asked for the Gen. Mgr. Brian's voice mail (which I left a message on) stated he does not work on Fridays. So, I then called back and asked for a Gen. Mgr. on-duty and spoke with Louie he took my information and said he would see about things with the service mgr. and call me back. I am still awaiting that call back and the one Brian;'s voice mail said would come today, "on Saturday" his V-M says! I don't even know if there is a problem with our new vehicle but, the staff supposedly inspected this vehicle before our purchase, we have had a pulling sensation since day one and while we may have procrastinated BJ should not only stand behind their inspection but also, support a new customer. I had heard some "bad" things about the BJ service and staff support but, I ignored them. I will not ignore them any longer and after we have the vehicle checked at our local independent, we will be pursuing another mfr. for a replacement vehicle within the next 12-months. The Bill Jacobs BMW dealership has totally changed our attitude towards BMW and we will never again make that mistake! More
