My husband and I went in looking for a used truck, because we just had a baby and he needed something bigger. After working out pricing which took FOREVER, with lots of back and forth. We agreed to ta because we just had a baby and he needed something bigger. After working out pricing which took FOREVER, with lots of back and forth. We agreed to take the truck home, my dad owns a mechanic shop and I wanted him to look over it. I was assured over and over that the truck had been through their mechanics inspection and I had nothing to worry about. Well low and behold I get in the truck the following morning (my first time driving it) I feel I kinda driving weird thought maybe a transmission issue. Sure enough my dad who has been a mechanic for 40+ years and business owner of 15 years gets in it drives it, and pulling out the transmission slips. So we drove about 2 miles every time the transmission slips. So I bring the truck back telling them the situation. Everyone acted completely dumb, and then saying "oh well send it to auction" so they talked me into taking a slightly newer more expensive truck to drive. When I returned several hours later the other truck was back on the lot. So, I had a friend call and act interested and they told him "oh it's a wonderful truck, one owner, passed our inspection, everything on it is in perfect condition. I told the salesman about this and than I thought it was shady, rude, and not someone who I want to do business with. More
Out of state buyer.Purchased 2009 Lexus GX470 in March 2012. The car arrived with single vallet key (cost me $400+ to get and programm a new one at Lexus Dealership), no shifter knob (cost $600.00 new) an 2012. The car arrived with single vallet key (cost me $400+ to get and programm a new one at Lexus Dealership), no shifter knob (cost $600.00 new) and no floor mats. When I asked dealer about the car condition before the purchase respond was that the car is "like new". The dealer respond to my question about the missing parts was quite simple - the price for the car was so low, that you should have no complaints about the vehicle condition, the car sold as is, there is nothing we can and there is nothing we will do and any further conversation does not have any sence. I am a disabled Veteran, this dealership showed Extra attention in finding the Right vehicle for me. I can not put in words the personal Attention I received, if you want the “Ultimate Customer Experienc attention in finding the Right vehicle for me. I can not put in words the personal Attention I received, if you want the “Ultimate Customer Experience!”come to Hood Northlake Chevrolet!! After I signed the Buyer Order yesterday, I went today to finish the paperwork. They found additional $1000.00 discount. Instead of paying the price "I ALREADY" agreed to they re-did all the paperwork all over. How many times has a dealership LOWERED the price AFTER you signed the contract. In all my life NEVER left a car dealership finance office with a Smile on my face. Instead of a Mini Van with a wheel chair lift I am now a Proud Owner of a Silverado 2500HD DURAMAX 6.6L V8 TURBO ALLISON 6-SPEED Z71 4X4! I now OWN my disability instead of it owning ME! They have a Customer for LIFE! This truck will work Great with all the Adaptations I will need to DRIVE AGAIN! More

David Anabinet, sales department, was very helpful with our questions, and ensured the the car was properly prepped. Loran, in finance department, was also very helpful with our numerous question, good rates and affordable monthly payments. Both men were low-keyed and non-pressure which is opposite of another dealer we had encountered. More
This was a stressful and, in my view, a risky purchase. I found that Chevrolet was running a 0% financing special on leftover 2008 Corvettes, and my wife and I decided we would purchase one. We began our I found that Chevrolet was running a 0% financing special on leftover 2008 Corvettes, and my wife and I decided we would purchase one. We began our search based on our home in New Jersey, and ended up scouring the entire country looking for the perfect car. We found our Jet Blue Corvette at Hood Northlake near New Orleans, some 1200 miles away. It was one of only two like it that we could find in the country. We contacted the dealer through the quote request utility on the Chevrolet website, and started what we expected to be an online, impersonal transaction. We were very surprised to find that would not be the case. From the very first email response from Derek to the final delivery and registration of the car both Derek and Sarah were there for us constantly. They were never more than an email or phone call away, and made us very comfortable working with them long distance. They guided us through all the complexities, resolved any bumps in the road, and even contacted the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission a number of times to ensure the registration and inspection process went well. We had a great experience, and highly recommend the Hood Northlake team for any vehicle purchase - whether you're down the street or across the country. More

This was a new experience for me. It was a internet sale. I would not have ever considered it, if the people I was dealing with would have tried to pressure me. I bought this truck at Hood Northlake Chevrole I would not have ever considered it, if the people I was dealing with would have tried to pressure me. I bought this truck at Hood Northlake Chevrolet because, I got the truck I wanted, at a price I was pleased with, without the pressure. I live within 7 miles of a chevrolet dealership, and 3 miles of a ford dealeraship. I could not come to terms with them. I felt like all they wanted was to get me in the door for a test drive, and pressure me into buying something, I did not want. I am forty-seven years old, and I knew what I wanted. I researched the truck I wanted on the internet, so I knew what a fair price was. I had a great experience dealing with Mrs. Sarah and Mr. Jim. I will continue to advertise for Hood Northlake Chevrolet. I could not be happier or more pleased with this experience and my new Silverado. You can bet, the next time I buy a new car, for my wife, it will be at Hood Northlake Chevrolet. They treated me like family, or in some cases better. Internet sales are the here and now! I was very sceptical, but I have no regrets, and it is all because of Hood's friendly staff. I could go on, but I will stop for now, because I am starting to sound like a commercial. So, let me sum it all up. I have nothing but praise for the way Hood's Northlake staff handled my new truck buying experience!! They did a great job and I will continue to tell people. More
Sarah, Thank you so much for all of your help and Sarah, Thank you so much for all of your help and time. The Toyota isn't a lease. I have 43 more payments. I will stop as soon as possible and come Sarah, Thank you so much for all of your help and time. The Toyota isn't a lease. I have 43 more payments. I will stop as soon as possible and come spend some time with you so we can evaluate my situation. I sold cars when I was younger and an old dealership owner who is dead now told me one time when I was having a hard time trying to make the deal, "Dutch, sometimes you just have to make the deal so you can make the buyer a long time customer and a great advocate of our dealership." I appreciate you doing this for me and I will come in and we will make a deal and you will have me as a long time customer and I will sing your praises to the great numbers of folks that I come in contact with daily. Also, I wanted to tell you that no other dealership has worked this hard to help me. I have been shopping for 6 months and you are the only one that hasn't given up on helping me out of my situation. I had an amazing experience at this dealership. The customer service was excellent in every way. They were willing to do what was necessary to answer any questions I had. They didn't try and hassle me customer service was excellent in every way. They were willing to do what was necessary to answer any questions I had. They didn't try and hassle me into purchasing something I did not want, and they gave me a very reasonable price and a GREAT deal on my trade-in. The salesman, Robert Juno, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about everything. And the finance manager did all he could to help us get the lowest monthly note possible. Overall I had a great experience, and will definitely purchase vehicles from Hood Northlake in the future! More
Monday, November 24, 2008 I contacted Hood Northlake Chevrolet about a 2009 Traverse. The salesman was Joshua Spell. I very explicitly explained I wanted their final, out-the-door price after tax, tit Chevrolet about a 2009 Traverse. The salesman was Joshua Spell. I very explicitly explained I wanted their final, out-the-door price after tax, title, license, trade-in, etc. I was very clear about this and Josh understood this. Before I left the dealership I was quoted a price of $39,816.10 for the vehicle. Two or three times I asked Josh to confirm that this was the final, out-the-door price. Each time he responded, "Yes, this is the out-the-door price." The next day my wife test drove the vehicle to make sure she liked it. When I called Josh to finalize the deal he told me he had mistakenly quoted me the vehicle price only, not the final, out-the-door price we had agreed to the night before. The actual out-the-door price was to be $42,598.54. I told Josh I was extremely upset about this 'bait and switch' tactic. I asked to see the paperwork on the vehicle. This paperwork was done by the sales manager, Greg Brumfield. Upon checking the math on the paperwork I found the $42,598.54 price was fradulently in error. That price should have been $41,494.51, a difference of almost $1,100!! I have the paperwork which verifies this. In summary, Hood Northlake Chevrolet tried to cheat me in two ways. First, the bait-and-switch on the price of the vehicle. Second, fradulent math on price worksheet. I can only imagine how many times they have pulled this scam on unsuspecting people in the past. More
