Been looking for a month for a new car, after not having purchased from a dealer in years. For comparison on salesmanship and price went to two other Ford dealers and looked at same car. Or tried. The dealer in Indianapolis wouldn't give me a price on the car I was interested in- he only would quote the price on the one I "would like better and it wouldn't cost any more." That same day I went to Bill Estes and though I made it clear I wasn't buying that day I was still treated as a valued customer, given test drives in two models, etc. Three weeks later I went to Plainfield to drive the car I was interested in and get a price, but as in Indy I got a salesman who wouldn't hear what I was asking for. He wouldn't work on the price at all, just kept offering to "lower the payment" which just meant stretching them out further. Plus he did the whole "let me go talk to my boss" thing and left us sitting there for about ten minutes. In contrast, the guys at Bill Estes do the work right in front of you. They were very respectful, never gave you the "its killing me to do this." I never got the sense they were unwilling to work with me. Mike is very respectful and low-key. He knows his business, seems to enjoy people and sales, and all without that hyper, rabid attitude you so often run across. On top of that, they managed to give me a MUCH better price than the other guys, who had assured me "everyone has the same price so I may as well buy here" (so not true) So for me, the people at Bill Estes Ford (the finance guy was cool too) made all the difference.
