I returned to the dealership and they were just as helpful as before, if not moreso, and although I had purchased a car before, since it was a big purchase I was somewhat nervous about making sure I ended up with the best car for me. The staff was incredible helping me explore my options and making sure that I got the car that I wanted (this time a 2007 Fusion) that would fit in my price range. They gave me a considerable trade in value for the old Taurus, made the entire process very smooth, and answered all my many, many questions happily. After searching a 1,200 mile radius for a truck that met my criteria, Darryl said, "Figure out what you want, and we'll just order it." I had never ordered a new car before, and was worried about the impact it might have on pricing. We were able to negotiate a reasonable price, contingent on the availability of acceptable financing options at time of delivery.
