After several weeks of looking for a high quality & affordable used car for my wife I saw a Bill Estes Ford advertisement and visited their dealership just before closing time. There I found several rows of late model used cars, including many models other than Ford. Right away I found 2 sedans at the top of my preferred cars to consider purchasing list. A courteous dealer employee named Chip came out in the bitter cold and answered all my general questions about the dealership and basic information about the auto I was most interested in. The next day after work I returned to Bill Estes Ford with my wife and was assisted by Chris Elder, who accompanied us on a test drive of the car and provided a lot of detailed information about the vehicle while answering numerous questions we asked. Chris was friendly and professional and didn't seem to mind that it was almost closing time at the dealership. The next morning we contacted Chris and about 2 hours later my very happy wife drove away in the super condition low mileage used car she wanted. I have dealt with many car dealerships over the years and without a doubt this was our most positive experience buying a car from a dealer. We quickly agreed on a price for the car without being pressured and the subesequent sales processing by Finance manager Greg Floyd was both easy and fast. I took the contract home, verified the numbers, and went back on Saturday to get the car. Previous experiences with other dealers include long waits in the salesman office as all the dealers have done, trying to wear you down. You usually spend an hour or two just trying to get a price out of them.... making buying a car one of the most unpleasent experiences on Earth. Not with Bill Estes Ford. The whole experience was pleasant. I got there a half hour earlier than I told them I would, so they brought out their Sync expert and he sat with me in the SUV explaining all the features of the Sync. I won't be able to answer Question number two, because with Zak and Jason, I had all the information before I even walked into the dealership. they had given me the pricingf information, contact information, and financing options before I ever stepped into the building. I LOATH car shopping! Had been looking for about 3 weeks at various models and were even internet shopping! Chris was the ONLY one who sent pleasant, thoughtful emails and truely seemed to listen to our ne at various models and were even internet shopping! Our Salesman, and the finance manager Greg Floyd went out of their way, stayed late, and got our deal done when they could have easily told us to come back tomorrow and finish up. He was never pushy, but also did not give up on us when we hesitated about closing the deal. Should we buy another vehicle, Bill Estes Ford will be the first choice for us, because the whole staff was friendly, helpful and very professional. Greg Floyd, the business manager also did a great job in procuring the very best financing that was available, and guiding us through all the paperwork, etc. Purchasing a car has never been one of our favorite experiences, but this was actually enjoyable--nice people!
