We have been working with several good, local dealers trying to find the right "first" car for our son. We had a specific budget set to work within and shared this with Michael Balkas. He was very kind, worked hard on our behalf to help us find the right fit within our budget that we set low..yet safe and "cool" enough for our son's first car. ;D We loved how Michael did not pressure us..would check in with us from time to time via e-mail and kept looking for us. On a whim, we dropped in to the dealership yesterday. We left with the right car for our son. It is clean, well maintained and we feel comforted knowing he has a good, reliable car even though it was at the high end of our quiet budget. Our son's safety is first and worth being at the higher end. We appreciated how patient Michael was-he treated us as though we were buying the most expensive car on the lot even though we were far from it. He then introduced us to Greg Floyd, the business manager, who worked to find us an even better rate than the one we had been pre-approved by our own bank. Greg not only found us a better rate-he found one that was half the interest rate! He was very professional as well. Greg took time to answer any and all of our questions, he was very courteous to us, very detailed and made sure we were fully comfortable and confident before signing any paper. We are so thankful for the way Mr. Estes has set the standard for his business...we are even more thankful that his employees carry out the commitment he has put in place! I had a warranty reimbursement issue on a faulty part that I had previously had replaced. After speaking with several others in the Service Dept. on several occasions, I finally spoke to Courtney after that I had previously had replaced. He was able to work with the sales manager to get me a great deal on my new car. Greg Floyd was a friendly face that made me feel comfortable and in control of my financial paperwork. He also did an excellent job going over protection plans without pressuring me to buy coverage I did not need. I felt very comfortable throughout my buying experience at Estes Ford and would definitely recommend the car dealership. My husband’s car broke down a couple of weeks ago and of course it had happened at the worst time for us. I had just started back to work, which made carpooling a nightmare for our family. We decided to test of faith and look for a vehicle that was in our very limited budget. Not to mention, we did not want another car payment at this point in our lives. We looked at buying directly from an owner and went to a few additional lots. We had no success because all of the vehicles were well out of our budget. We were actually told we will not find a vehicle on a lot for our budget until we had arrived at Bill Estes Ford in Brownsburg. When we had arrived, the place was so nice that we knew we were not going to find anything there as well. We had spoken to Mike and he introduced us to Tony. It was hard for our family to tell them our story and that we probably could not afford anything on their lot. But, they treated us so well and worked to get us into a vehicle. To our surprise, we had several vehicles to choose from and were more than what we had expected to get for the money. We drove away with a very nice car paid in cash with a full tank of gas, inside and out detailing and a certificate for a free oil change.
