He I bought my Mitsubishi from Brian Oleson last month at Bill Dodge. I've bought a lot of cars in my life and Brian surpassed all of my expectations. He was very knowledgeable and extremely professional. He listened to what I wanted and guided me to the exact car that fit my needs. Brian really gave me the feeling that he genuinely cared about me, as a customer. Since my purchase he has followed up with me numerous times to see how I was liking the vehicle and even sent me a Christmas card. Brian is an extreme asset to your company and down the road I will be going to see Brian and Bill Dodge first for any of my automotive needs. Thank you Brian and Bill Dodge. More

I bought a 2014 Nissan Rogue. The salesman I worked with was Joe Robinson. He was great. I never felt pressured but was very accommodating. It was a great experience. We didn't know we would be leasing that day! Our first stop was Kia Saco- Frank Markgren met us. At first I felt uneasy as a salesman approached. I don't like to be pushed about sales. However, m Our first stop was Kia Saco- Frank Markgren met us. At first I felt uneasy as a salesman approached. I don't like to be pushed about sales. However, my feelings changed rather quickly when I realized how knowledgable and laidback Frank was. He didnt push, he helped. We were very impressed with the cars we looked at and actually really liked the Cadenza. We had a great test drive and conversation while we drove. I was happy Frank walked out to meet us that day. He took time to help and answer our questions. I know that if I called him today he would do his best to answer any question that I had. Everyone at the dealership was pleasant and helpful. It was a great car leasing experience. We are so far very happy with our 2014 Cadenza. the above / select vehicle brand purchased/considered only allowed me to check off used car dealer...there were no other choices avail. More
We bought a used Lexus 250h hybrid from Bill Dodge's used car center in Brunswick, Maine last May, 2013. Our salesman, Raphael, while friendly enough, turned out that he didn't have a clue about many o used car center in Brunswick, Maine last May, 2013. Our salesman, Raphael, while friendly enough, turned out that he didn't have a clue about many of the .features of the Lexus hybrid - locks, security features, modes of operating a hybrid, radio, satellite, and blue tooth controls. One feature we were told by Raphael the car didn't have was a remote starter, which we found out this spring that it indeed did, but the manager and service department had no idea about how to make it work. This feature would have been nice this winter. At the closing we were eagerly met by our smiling salesman, Raphael, who promised to fill the Lexus up with gas and wash it as he directed my wife and I into the finance manager's den. When we got out our new car it had neither been gassed or washed, and Raphael had vanished into thin air. We were left alone with our new car to figure out to operate it. While there we were also subjected to a high pressure sales pitch to buy an expensive extended warranty plan, which I would not normally do under any circumstance, but in this case made an exception as the car was a hybrid and expensive to repair. We found out this spring, nearly a year after purchasing the car, that our Lexus still had a factory bumper to bumper warranty left on it for another two years. Just one more thing that neither Raphael or the finance manager knew about or cared to know about... they just wanted to sell what was a worthless plan to me to increase profit margin and commission. I was pretty ripped needless to say about being ripped off. Being under the illusion that in this age of enlightenment , businesses realize that good customer service is vital for their bottom line, I paid a visit to Bill Dodge's finance manager, Dave, in Brunswick. I really thought the Bill Dodge dealership would try to make me a happy customer, and refund my money, and then I could go forth and spread the good word about incredible customer service Bill Dodge provided, and go on to buy a fleet of expensive cars from them down the road. I was in for bitter disappointment. Dave turned out to be something of a "wise xxx" and as defensive. He had an excuse for everything. ccording to Dave the warranty was a wonderful plan, and that I should keep it even though Lexus covered virtually all the same things "The Plan" did. And how could I expect Raphael to know everything about all of the twenty or thirty cars on the lot that cost more than many people earn in a year? And that we must have picked our car up on a busy day... so they didn't have time to wash it or to fill'er up. and Raphael's disappearance? He had to get back to the other dealership to sell more cars. No apologies, no offer to make "things" right, which I requested... like a full refund for the extended warranty plan, and if that was not possible how about some credit on future service? some oil changes, a lube job... something.. come on Dave... how about a Bill Dodge hat? Key ring? Just throw me some bone Dave... come on! You can make me walk outta here with a smile on my face and a bounce in my step, and not that shuffling out, kicking cans feeling that I had been ripped off. But nothing. Just a, "Hey, hope you'll come back and buy your next car here!". Ha, Ha you're funny Dave; like xxxx I will. And oh yeah Dave, did I tell you I have a big mouth? I going to tell all my friends on Facebook and Twitter about my experience at this Bill Dodge dealership. Well, despite Dave's best sales efforts I did cancel "The Plan", and according to Dave I will get some "prorated" portion of my money back. I love the Lexus hybrid, but the customer service at this Bill Dodge dealership sucks, and for me confirms the sleazy stereotypes about used car dealers. More

Purchased a used 2011 GMC Acadia SLT2, went to pick it up six days after trying it out and making down payment (they said that was the soonest they could have it ready- they were going to put new brakes and six days after trying it out and making down payment (they said that was the soonest they could have it ready- they were going to put new brakes and tires on it). When we arrived to sign documents we were told the vehicle was in having the brakes and tires put on so couldn't see it while waiting. We were taken in over an hour after our scheduled time to sign the paperwork and by the time we finished, they were closed. We were kind of rushed to change our things over from our old car and it was almost dark so we didn't get to look the vehicle over at all. We get on the highway to go home (about an hour away) and hear a horrible noise and the vehicle has a vibration. We pull over once we get off the highway at a gas station where we have light and see that the front mud flap is broke and just hanging on one side. The next morning in better light (vehicle is black) I see a dent in the trim that runs along the bottom of front fender (same side as broken mud flap) and a gouge in the paint as well as some other scratches. Obviously, something had happened to cause this damage to the front end but nobody seemed to know what. I also now feel they knew and that is the reason we were not shown the vehicle while waiting over an hour to sign paperwork. The vehicle had not been detailed (only vacuumed), there was dust and dirt over entire interior, and the windows had streaks and prints all over them. They took the vehicle back the next week fixed the dent, the paint and the mud flap but the vibration remained. Long story short, the vehicle goes back a total of five times, they change a couple wheels, front hub, u-joint (rear drive shaft) and one tire but the vehicle still had a vibration/shake. They tell me it's the low profile tires and I am feeling the road surface. I do understand that with low profile tires you do feel the road and I do know when I am feeling road surface. I did get another call stating they would like for Bob to go for a ride with me and see if we can get it resolved. I drove back to Westbrook (sixth time vehicle has gone back), we took a drive in my car (he drove since I feel it most in the driver's seat), said he didn't feel anything that didn't seem normal. I then drove a 2014 Acadia with similar tires and though I did feel a slight vibration at higher speeds I still feel that it isn't the same type of jumping/shake that I feel in my car. I felt the vibration in the new vehicle was an even, all over type whereas, I don't feel that way in my car. I feel that mine is somethign to do with a front tire (not necessarily the tire itself but something that moves it). I have had other's drive my vehicle (some who have low profile tires) and all agree with me, it doesn't seem normal. I will say the vibration is not nearly as bad as it originally was but though they say they don't feel anything out the ordinary for and AWD with low profile tires, I still feel that something isn't as it should be. I have agreed to drive it for a while and see how things go (what else am I going to do?) but still am not happy with the way the vehicle rides at highway speed. I can't imagine anyone would like feeling a vibration or feeling like your front tire is shaking so I don't know if all who own an Acadia with 20" tires just deal with this if it is normal. I have kind of received different stories from service manager, mechanic that worked on it and Bob as to what was actually changed and what was wrong. I will say that Nick, Eric and Bob have all been very nice overall and I agree they have tried but I still feel that at some point it will be found that something that was not as it should be. It has been alot of frustration, time off work and trips back and forth and I just wish I could fully enjot the vehicle. The last note, if you have any doubt that you might not want your extended warranty, don't buy, because that was a lot of frustration, unreturned calls and emails to Damien that took over two months to finally get it cancelled. I am told that if something goes wrong they will fix it. More
July 26 2013 The Service Deptment at Bill Dodge Used Auto group Checked out My 2000 Beige Buick LeSabre That I purchased on July 13 2013 at Bill Dodge. After My Mechanic looked over the Vehical He questioned group Checked out My 2000 Beige Buick LeSabre That I purchased on July 13 2013 at Bill Dodge. After My Mechanic looked over the Vehical He questioned a couple Items he found ie leaking valve cover and worn tie rod. He stated that the valve cover leak could cause a Fire and I should bring the car back to Bill Dodge and have it repaired. He also stated that for those reasons the car should not have had Passed a State Inspection. On July 24 2013 I contacted the service deptment and after some back and forth discussion they set me up with a July 26 2013 appoinment. I Met with Bob Murphy he took the car in and after awhile came out and told me that the tie rod end was okay and the front end was soild. They could not duplicate the engine mmiss fire cylinder 3 but did see the P0300 #3 miss fire code also they saw no valve cover oil leak. So I explained that my mechanic show me and it was located between the firewall and the engine. When Bob returned he located some weaping but not a oil LEAK at the valve cover. further Bob stated that cars 2 years old and newer have oil leaks. also stated they did not want to tighten the valve covers cause it could make the LEAK worse. I questioned hime and tried to get him to be proactive that the Leak would only get worse and feared an engine fire Bob said he would talk with the Sales Manager for a fianal decision. Bob also stated that if the Average Customer were to come in off the road and wanted the valve covers gasket replaced. that he would talk the customer out of doing the $245.00 repair cause it just is not worth it. I told Bob That I am concerned about a enging fire on my WIFES car the 30 day Warrenty should apply I should not have to bring the car back under the extended service plan which I bought and have to fork out more money especially when the ITEMS should have kept the Vehical from recieving STATE INSPECTIONS STICKERS in the first place.. and I did not consider myself an Average Customer just off the street . I Had BOUGHT 2 Buicks LeSabre here on July 13 2013 CASH and I did not beat anybody up on the price when I bought them and would hope they would do the right thing and do the REPAIRS. My Last hope was the sales MANAGER of the DAY who I did not met and there was no attempt by him to come out and talk with me at all. OUR GREATEST RECOGNITION IS YOUR SATISACTION !!! are you sure about that. So it only gets better from here I also had brought the other Buick in because of Items that my Mechanic found that should have kept that car from having a STicker to. But I will do another Dealer Review on 2005 Buick LeSabre More
