I have had a fantastic experience with Bill Dickason Chevrolet from my purchase of a new Malibu this spring through my visits to the service department. August 27, 2024 Traveled from Lindale, TX for an 11:15am appointment to have fuel filter changed and front end aligned as the truck had 13,000 miles and I bought it used with 11,000 miles on a 2024 Silverad appointment to have fuel filter changed and front end aligned as the truck had 13,000 miles and I bought it used with 11,000 miles on a 2024 Silverado 2500HD High Country 6.6 Duramax. I was greeted by Buzzy and explained the service I was expecting and I asked how long it would take. He told me 2.5 hours because the dealership only had one technician and he was on lunch Break and then excused himself because it was time for his lunch break and that Mariela would be handling my service. Mariela was covered up with phone calls but we had a conversation to discuss the service and the two GM service recalls. Long story short, I was charged $100 for a fuel filter. An OEM filter from Amazon is $30.00. Does that sound fair? Front end alignment was performed, charged $140.00 and truck still pulls to the right. Not a good look and I will be hard pressed to recommend this service department with one mechanic and overwhelmed service reps. Jim Short Lindale, TX More
I scheduled maintenance for my truck 1 week prior to bringing it in. I was promised everything would be completed in 1 day. At 4pm, I called for an update since no one bothered to call me. I was informed only 1 thing was completed in that time. This is the second time I was lied to regarding completion of service work. To top this off, after asking for the service manager to call me, I have yet to have ANYONE contact me. It would seem that no one at Bill Dickason understands customer service. SHAME ON ALL MANAGERS AT THAT LOCATION!!! More
