Adrian and Kohl were great! Repairs always take a while, but they were quick to advance me to the next step as soon as it was possible. Horrendous service with very poor communication. I had to initiate contact for updates the vast majority of the time. I completed an oil consumption test and was told my vehicle was fine only for th I had to initiate contact for updates the vast majority of the time. I completed an oil consumption test and was told my vehicle was fine only for the same problem to occur 3 months later. The first time I expressed worry this might happen again and was told by my service advisor that it would be fine if I only used ?shell gas and not any other brand. Then when I returned I was immediately told my engine needed to be replaced. When that was finally finished I was told my vehicle was ready for pick up and my battery was dead upon arrival. I was surprised my less than 2 year old battery had issues and my service advisor told me it went dead due to the extreme heat in Houston. Everyone in Houston needs to watch out then, if that’s the case. They were charging about $400 to replace my battery, even after the poor service experience I’ve had over these months. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was forced to go here when I had my initial issues in December and my local dealership had a 3 month wait to check an engine, but I’ll hopefully never have to return. More

The service Manager Kohl is rude, disrespectful, they always try to sell you extra services fees wether needed or no. Avoid , avoid , avoid at any cost . I bought a Palisade 2022 and since the first service they were trying to sell me extra service not needed yet from cleaning battery cables from corrosion to changing engine filter and cabin filter. They took my car for service and blow up my tire which they fixed after they made me wait 2 hours. Second time i took it they said i have a nail in my tire and they need to replace the tire and i have to pay 355 dollars , i thought the tire is flat and needed to be replaced it was a tire i fix before a patch and was completely fine. They said they sent me a video which they did not.i asked to speak to the service manager and he was rude and disrespectful from the moment a came to his office and not welcoming at all, i told him to show me the video which he did and i saw that was the tire i fix and i said that is a misunderstanding and he told me you owe me an apology, i said apology for what you said there is a nail in the tire and that tire been fixed a year ago. He kicked me out of his office in very rude and disrespectful way and made a fxxl of him self infront of everyone. I stayed there until they gave me my keys and left and he told me don’t come back again. Please avoid this dealership. More
This is the most unprofessional dealership I have ever dealt with. BE AWARE; if you decide to take your vehicle here for service they will try and sell you on extra services you need for your vehicle howe dealt with. They will pass this off as “Oh well these services are what WE (Big Star) recommend.” Its a ploy that is dishonest and very shady. I would never step foot in this dealership again. I also had a Saturday appointment made and I was told I could get a shuttle ride to my home when I dropped vehicle off. Once I arrived they stated; “We do not offer a shuttle ride after 12 because we close at 2 pm on Saturday. I called the dealership and had operator schedule the service for me and she offered the ride.........I didn’t ask for a ride but she stated: “We can give you a ride back home and send another ride to pick you up and bring you back to get your vehicle once the service is completed.” Again, it was not true when I showed up. Lastly they stole a Hyundai first aid kit from my glove compartment when vehicle was there for service. I did call and tell them this happened and they replaced the stolen item but........your stuff is not safe in your vehicles there. Again...........RUN FROM BIG STAR. They do not appreciate customers and have no intention of providing advise or help its all about selling you additional services not required by your manufacturer and when questioned you will get the response: “Yes, you are right.......these are services WE require.” Dishonest and not worth the hassle More

This is the warranty coverage for paint damage and blame Hyndai and the paint shop for their misleading information. If I could provide zero stars I would because 1 star is still too much for their professionalism and how they treat the elderly. More
