While traveling on Hwy 45 South I ran over (what I later found out was a nail) something that made my tire pop. Instantly exiting the closest turn in was the Ron Carter Hyundai on El Dorado. As soon as I pulled it in it on Like took 2 minutes before Michael Resendez came out to see what exactly was the problem. I was in a near anxiety attack point, when he said not to worry he was gonna see what he could do. After calling anyone and everyone I knew that could possibly meet to help me, he from behind the building with a huge jack and everything that could help me change it! I couldn't emphasize enough how much he was a hero at that point! Being almost an hour away from home with absolutely no idea how to change a tire, but it also being the day after I took my jack out of my trunk so I could get my brakes changed. Thank you again. I was able to make it to discount tire, and still had enough time to get my little girl safe and sound from school. :) More
Extended warrantee issues Spent over 1.5 hours trying to get help with my 2011 Hyundai Tuscon steering wheel problem. Told by everyone who I talked to that the steering wheel Spent over 1.5 hours trying to get help with my 2011 Hyundai Tuscon steering wheel problem. Told by everyone who I talked to that the steering wheel "leather" covering was not covered because it was a cosmetic issue. The car has less than 36,000 miles. When I bought the car, I was offered a five year extension on the factory bumper to bumper warrantee for $1,00.00 extra, I was told by a couple of the management people, that even if the car was only a few days old, this type of issue would not be covered as it was considered to be a cosmetic issue. I have purchased four Hyundais so far, but will probably not buy another one. What good is a warrantee if anytime a customer tries to use it, the dealership uses any excuse that can find to deny coverage. Once before I had a problem with this same dealership on another car. The engine threw a piston though the block. The did not want to cover it because the vehicle did not have enough oil when it was towed in for repair. They did not want to accept he fact that the oil was gone dud to the big hole in the engine block caused by the piston head going through the block. Finally won that one after proving the oil was just changed about 200 miles before. I once had he dealer (champion Hyundai) refuse to cover a n oil pump failure because the warrantee only covered the pump housing, not any on the pump internal parts.. More

Called me today and said I needed to provide one more paycheck stub. Instead they locked me in a room with some xxxxxxx trying to force me into some new deal, because they overcharged me so much that the original lender would it only lend 80% of the car bc loan exceeded the value More

Worse customer service experience...EVER I wrote an extensive review on yelp on 4/11/16 about a negative service experience. I had my car in shop over 2 week due to recall issue. My EZ-tag wa I wrote an extensive review on yelp on 4/11/16 about a negative service experience. I had my car in shop over 2 week due to recall issue. My EZ-tag was on my car and the service rep told me any cost will be mine as I used the loaner. It was a customer that gave me useful information letting me know that I could go online and transfer my account for the short time to the loaner. I was grateful to him and annoyed at the rep who seem content enough to let me know I would have to pay up. Had to get things out of the car including my roadside survival bin with tools, jumper cables etc. I'm a lone woman that travels out of town for work and I don't feel safe without. I have to transfer this large bin from one car in skirt and heels without any help or suggestion of assistance from the two young men holding a conversation and waiting for me to finish. So today, I get the car back. He hands me my keys. I ask questions relating to possible problems to note. He tells me to let me know if there are any problems. I shake his hand and assure him I will. I drive off, now late for my appointment. I get to my destination, park turn around to lock the door with the remote as I walk away and stop. WHAT! What is that?!? My whole front bumper of the passenger side of my car is mashed in. My car has been wrecked. Forget the appointment. I immediately call the dealership to get transferred to voicemail. I check my GPS, I can get there just before they close if I leave now. I leave and get there as the service rep is leaving. I tell him what happens and ask him to come out and see. "This is NOT how I brought my car in. How does a car end up wrecked sitting in a dealership for 2 weeks?!?" "Well ma'am my manager is not here, he has left already." "I know that. I called. " After inspecting the damage he goes and gets a camera to take pictures. I mention getting a lawyer involved. "Well, if you do that there is nothing we can do. It will be handed over to our legal department." "So, you are telling me the dealership doesn't have a general manager on site that I can talk to?" " Well, if you go up front they will get him for you" So, that's what I do. Give my concerns to the clerk(who was quite nice and helpful) and she handed off to the manager. The young man follows me outside on the phone the whole time. When he gets out an looks at the car and I tell him the story, he asks: "So, you didn't do a walk around of your car before you left?" "No. I never had to do that. I will from now on. He did a walk around of the loaner, he did not do a walk around of my car." "Well that's strange, they should..." "Well, he didn't. He gave me my keys and paperwork that's it." "Well, when I have my car in service for a week, I..." My head hurts and I'm truly upset now. "Let's cut to the chase. Are you saying I'm responsible because I DIDN'T insist on a walk around of my car?!? Do you think I'm making this up" "No, no ma'am. I will talk to the service manager first thing in the morning. "Fine, do what you have to do and I will do what I must. I need a copy of the note with your signature, time and date please." He complies, makes a copy and hands it to me. I note he only hands me one. I need the copy of the notes relating my complaint. He hands it to me then. I should have stuck with Philpott Hyundai in Nederland. It would have been worth the drive for the proven customer service and fair deals. *headdesk…repeatly* More
