DO NOT HAVE YOU VEHICLE SERVICED AT BIG STAR FORD! !! I brought my vehicle to Big Star Ford because I trusted the expertise that accompanies ford brand, but I was gravely mistaken. I feel like the ser !! I brought my vehicle to Big Star Ford because I trusted the expertise that accompanies ford brand, but I was gravely mistaken. I feel like the service team was just shooting in the dark and charging me for their experimentation. I paid over $600 in diagnostic fees and I trusted that a complete diagnosis would be performed, but instead they took that money found some surface level stuff and led me to believe that if I paid the quoted price that my vehicle would be fixed. My original initial estimate was about 5-6K by the time everything was said and done the cost was up to 13K. They kept my vehicle for over a month and when I got it back it was actually in worst condition than when I dropped it off at Big Star Ford. After a month of them having my vehicle, I came to pick it up and before I could drive it off the lot my check engine light was back on, and the vehicle would not go over 50 MPH. I would think that after they made a repair someone would confirm that the repair actually fixed the problem. This obviously did not occur. A week later I came back to pick up my vehicle again and found that now my radio and rear-view camera were no longer working. I requested that someone look at it and I was told that my only option was to leave the vehicle for what I can only assume would be at least another week and a couple thousand more dollars. After being fed up I took my vehicle and left with no radio, no rear view camera, and the with the root cause never being addressed. I paid Big Star Ford over 8K and I feel as though I was taken advantage of. I was baited in with the low estimate and then once I was already locked in and had no other options they started finding things to repair all while never getting to the root cause. This was the worst service experience, and I will do what I can to ensure that they don’t take advantage of anyone else in the same manner that they took advantage of me. I bought a brand new truck to to long ago and since day number one they where very unprofessional. I call a week in advance to book the appointment and the. On Wednesday I called again for them to order th number one they where very unprofessional. I call a week in advance to book the appointment and the. On Wednesday I called again for them to order the oil filter and they said they would. But knowing how unprofessional the staff are I called Friday morning to tell them again and they said that they would because with the person I called didn’t order the filter but I was not to happy about that so I went ahead and orders it again and asked them that when will it be there they said today Friday April 8th it would be there at 3pm. So that was good because the appointment was at 4pm. When I got there it was 4pm and I told the if they had the filter,well they had me waiting for at least 30-35 minutes and then they told me that the filter had not came in. I was pretty mad because I didn’t just called them twice to make sure the filter was there. The worst part was that I don’t like 30 min away I live almost 1 hour and 40 minutes. With traffic it made it about 3 hour drive home. After this I won’t be buying any more car’s from them ever again because of how unprofessional. And it’s not the first time they do that it’s the 3rd time they make me wait always make me wait about 4 hours. I asked to talk to the persons manager she was very unprofessional about how she talked to me as a customer. How does she think customers are going to come back if you don’t get respect and talked with manners. I was planning to buy another new truck again but know I don’t think I will ever again come to big star ford. All my olí and filters where paid and still not going to get my money back. I had a service appointment at 11:00am on 4/7/22 it is now 12:08 and my truck has not moved. I have watched the service department get worse over the past two years. I don’t know who the manager is and th now 12:08 and my truck has not moved. I have watched the service department get worse over the past two years. I don’t know who the manager is and that question has been ignored when asked. I have other things to do for instance, get back to work. My time should be considered valuable. The service department sucks and that’s a nice way to put it at this time. Wait a minute, here is a new update. They just moved my truck. After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting. I see no reason to use BigStar for routine maintenance again. You lost another customer. More
This dealership has the absolute worst service that I have ever experienced. I would not recommend buying a vehicle at this dealership unless there is not another one within 150 miles. If you bring a car here for service have a full day prepared to sit and wait even if you have an appointment. They will make many promises and will not follow through on any. i.e. for such a small task as having a spare key made. It has been 7 months and after many calls I still have had no luck. I hope that this review helps at least one person make a better decision than I did. More
