I’ve purchased many vehicles over the years—several out of state—and I can honestly say my experience with Big Star Ram in Webster, Texas has been among the worst. I submitted an online inquiry about a Ram of state—and I can honestly say my experience with Big Star Ram in Webster, Texas has been among the worst. I submitted an online inquiry about a Ram truck on a Sunday, and Dennis Wright texted me Monday morning. When he asked if I was local, I explained I was in Michigan and provided my zip code so he could check incentives. Instead of doing that, he immediately replied that the price would be different without any real explanation or effort. He offered to call, and I let him know I was available. A few hours later, I texted him again to say I was still free—no response. I then reached out to the sales manager, Kenny Young, via email, explaining I didn’t want to work with Dennis anymore but was still interested in the vehicle. Suddenly, Dennis called me 30 minutes later—convenient timing. He said he could honor the advertised price, but only if I agreed to purchase $5,000 in completely unnecessary dealer-installed upgrades. Huge red flag. Still, I asked him to look into transportation costs to Michigan. He seemed confused—like he had never handled an out-of-state sale before. An hour later, he texted to say the truck was sold. No alternative options were offered, no follow-up, nothing. Despite contacting the sales manager, I never heard back from him either. It’s honestly shocking how little interest they showed in making a sale, especially to someone with prime credit and 50% down. These folks feel stuck in pandemic-era pricing and customer service, and the market has passed them by. I’d strongly advise taking your business elsewhere. More
Showed up close to closing time. German pulled the truck around for a quick test drive and got me a quick, GREAT, deal on my new to me vehicle. German pulled the truck around for a quick test drive and got me a quick, GREAT, deal on my new to me vehicle. More
My experience was good. I’m disappointed I did not recess copy of my contract and as of today I still have not received a copy. Secondly, please be clear about financing. I I’m disappointed I did not recess copy of my contract and as of today I still have not received a copy. Secondly, please be clear about financing. I arrived at the dealership and was told a totally unexpected payment amount. It understandable things happen but communication is very important. The response after the contract is signed is very important as well. Having good service boosts your business. Be sure your teams responds to the customer after the deal has been finalized. More
Horrible service by manager Joe. Could not give us any answers. Just kept saying no to everything instead of try to help and find a solution for the customer. Could not give us any answers. Just kept saying no to everything instead of try to help and find a solution for the customer. More
Worst experience I’ve ever had when it comes to buying a car, for one my husband and I drove a hour in fifteen minutes away to find out the car wasn’t ready for purchase but told my husband come on down we’ car, for one my husband and I drove a hour in fifteen minutes away to find out the car wasn’t ready for purchase but told my husband come on down we’re waiting on you, we had to drive back the next day to get the car. Not to mention on the internet the car says one price then once we get there yall mark it up $5,000. Y’all have all type of extra warranty fees. Then my husband had the car 16 days so he was trying to pay his car note early but noticed he wasn’t in the system with the people he was supposed to be financed to so when he reached out to y’all we had to drive back down there and sign some more papers. We have bought several cars in our time this was the worst experience with the highest interest rate we’ve ever had. Y’all are very unprofessional when it comes to business so I wouldn’t suggest anyone to come to big star in clear lake…. Horrible experience More

They will not stand behind their work, they will continue to say its other issue, which will cost more $$$ befo Work service department in Houston. They will not stand behind their work, they will continue to say its other issue, which will cost more $$$ before they go back and rework their mistake. You will have to fight them every step of the way to make sure your vehicle is getting the correct service. I repeat DO NOT TAKE VEHICLE FOR SERVICE AT THIS DEALERSHIP More
I was not told the vehicle only had one key fob until after the purchase. Honda dealership charged $425 for a new key fob. Also, the van would not start two days after the purchase due to a very loose after the purchase. Honda dealership charged $425 for a new key fob. Also, the van would not start two days after the purchase due to a very loose battery terminal. The same day there was a clicking sound from the fan belt which will need to be fixed. Clearly the van was not serviced prior to the purchase as promised. More
