STAY AWAY!! DO NOT BUY HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A FEMALE. IT TOOK 23 DAYS TO TELL ME THAT THE DEAL COULD NOT BE FUNDED!!! My experience with this dealer has been by far the worst of my life. I went FEMALE. IT TOOK 23 DAYS TO TELL ME THAT THE DEAL COULD NOT BE FUNDED!!! My experience with this dealer has been by far the worst of my life. I went in to trade out of a Soul I had purchased there a few years before. As a female I already knew I needed to be extra careful not to be taken advantage of or be intimidated into a deal that would not work for me. After finding the car I wanted and telling them my absolute maximum amount for Down Payment they sent Ray to "convince" me to put down more money, he told me to ask my friends and family for money. He also asked me to put some of the down payment on my credit cards and when I said absolutely NOT he tried staring me down and intimidating me. When that didn't work he went away and they eventually "got" me into another car. After several hours waiting to meet with the finance guy I was sent to Erick (who is apparently the finance manager) I had arrived at the dealer at around 11 am and did not leave until after 6. Erick had me sign a contract on Saturday January 23rd, he began sending me messages to provide additional information on Wednesday January 27th. The next day, the 28th of January, he sent me a message stating I needed to come back to resign documents. I Went back in on Saturday the 30th and signed another contract. I saw he added Road Hazard to my contract which I had already told him I did not want, He stated if I added the road hazard my interest rate would be lower. He continued to communicate with me until February 2nd via text. And then I did not hear from him again. At which point I began receiving messages from the sales rep stating I had to come back in AGAIN. When I sent a text message to Erick asking for clarification he did not reply. I received emails and a letter from Bev Smith Kia congratulating me on my purchase so I thought everything was worked out. Boy was I wrong! I kept receiving communication (combination phone calls and text messages) from the sales rep stating he was told the car would be repossessed. I frantically began calling to figure out what was going on and did not receive ONE call back either from a sales manager or a finance manager. Finally on Monday February 15th, at 9:20 am (23 DAYS LATER!) I received another call from the sales rep stating I had to bring the car back to the dealer or it would be repossessed. After asking again what was going on, Erick the finance manager called me he was rude, condescending and all around nasty, he implied I was trying to keep the car and stated that he would begin to charge a fee per each day I kept the vehicle, I asked him as per their contract for something in writing stating the reason the deal did not go through and that I had to bring the car back. At this point he replied the car had to be back that day! I explained to him that I was nowhere near the dealer and the earliest I could bring the car in was Wednesday to which he agreed, then he turned around and told the sales rep to come get the car! At that point I told the rep to bring my car, money and both my keys. He said would, at around 5 pm I sent a text asking for an ETA, I was told he would head my way after the dealer closed at 8 pm. It is an hour and 1/2 drive to which I stated I would not be available at that time of night. I told him I would be at the dealer the next day around 2:45pm and wanted everything to be ready as I was taking time off from work. I was told to speak with Jesus who is the sales manager. I asked him for an explanation and expressed my frustration and anger at how poorly the entire process was conducted. He somewhat explained what happened to the deal. When he gave me my key back I told him I had turned in 2 keys not one. He was adamant that he logged in only one key. Again I got the stare down trying to get me to blink, I felt that he was attempting to intimidate me as Ray did originally. I held my ground and he went and "found" my key in another building. With this whole experience I felt that because I went to the dealer alone as a female I was treated with complete disrespect! NO COMMUNICATION from the finance department! Not to mention that some of the items on their website are NOT in their vehicles. Recap!! IT TOOK 23 DAYS TO TELL ME THAT THE DEAL COULD NOT BE FUNDED!!! FEMALES STAY AWAY THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND NOT CARE IF THEY ARE INTIMIDATING!! More
Everything worked out great. If I had anything negative, it would be that I was pushed a little to much into having to purchase the same day. I would have purchased the vehicle the following day. As Dealership goes this was your typical Dealership. We had a great experience with our salesman Pat McFadden. Although there was a bit of a disconnect between the person you chat with online and who you e had a great experience with our salesman Pat McFadden. I had a wonderful car shopping experience. My car salesman was Justin Rubino. He was more than knowledgeable about the cars, super professional and friendly, patient, and most importantly NOT PUSHY!! salesman was Justin Rubino.
