I’m honestly surprised to see so many positive reviews for Bev Smith Kia, because my experience was far from pleasant. I visited the dealership on Tuesday evening and worked with sales representative Cod for Bev Smith Kia, because my experience was far from pleasant. I visited the dealership on Tuesday evening and worked with sales representative Cody and floor manager Dwayne. Throughout the interaction, they repeatedly asked me the same questions separately, which created confusion and should have been a red flag. Eventually, Dwayne provided me with two estimated payment options, pending some additional information I needed to gather on my end. I was comfortable with the numbers discussed and felt confident—based on our conversation—that they would work to meet that range. After providing the requested information, I was told the final payment would need approval. I understood and waited, but after two days—with no follow-up call or email despite being promised one—I decided to reach out myself. When I finally got an update, the monthly payment had increased by $200 compared to what we discussed, and it was now structured as financing rather than the lease option we had agreed upon. To make matters worse, I was told the numbers were for a Sorento, a vehicle I had clearly stated I was not interested in. I even sent a photo of the figures Dwayne had written down during our initial conversation, but instead of clarification, I was simply told to call in again. Overall, this was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this dealership. More
