I purchased a new car in June 2024. From the time I signed the contract to today, things have gone wrong. It took forever to get the car shipped, the car arrived damaged (which I unders From the time I signed the contract to today, things have gone wrong. It took forever to get the car shipped, the car arrived damaged (which I understand wasn't the dealer's fault, but I had to constantly follow up to get information on getting the damage fixed), it took almost a month to get my license plate after submitting the necessary documents, the car wasn't cleared of the existing recalls, nor was I even told about them, and when I ended up with a damaged windshield and inquired about what my additional warranties covered, I was informed by the warranty company that windshields aren't covered under the tier of warranty I have. I was not informed that there were tiers to choose from or presented with the option to choose one that covered windshield damage. This was my first new car purchase and it's been nothing but frustrating. I understand that some of the things that have happened have been outside the control of the dealership, but what is not outside of its control is keeping in good contact with its customers and doing the legwork to fix issues related to a car that I purchased from it. The only time I was able to get quick answers was by calling the supervisor after receiving little to no information from the others involved. More
