Went in looking for the new silverado 1500 LT. HOwever, I ended up finding a 2010 silerao 1500 LTZ on the lot with 7500 miles on it for about the same price. Was able to talk em down alittle and got it for 3 ended up finding a 2010 silerao 1500 LTZ on the lot with 7500 miles on it for about the same price. I was prepared for the "miserable" task of purchasing a new car. From the moment I spoke to our sales rep - the experience was AWESOME! The more I drive the car the more I like it. It gives me great gas mileage,it is comfortable, and so far reliable. Purchased one truck from them a year and a half ago. Were a bit hard to work on the price on that purchase, but eventually came to terms we could both live with. Recently took the car in for service (warrant a bit hard to work on the price on that purchase, but eventually came to terms we could both live with. Recently took the car in for service (warranty work). The tech looked at the trunk and said they had to order parts, and it was best to schedule an appointment. So I scheduled an appointement for one week later (they said they only needed 2 days to get the parts). When I dropped the car off everything seemed fine. But later that day I call to see if the car is done, they say no and they need it another day. Next day they call my wife and as "whats wrong with the truck?". I immediately call them and try and find out what is going on, when I finally talk to someone, they say that they do not have any idea why the truck is there and have no parts for it. They actually blame me for not calling before my appointment to check that the parts were in. When I go to get the car (not finished, but they had it for 1 1/2 days), the service guy is very rude to me. Well that's enought for me with this dealership. I a just ordered a car from them two days before, so I go into talk with the GM to tell them that I am cancelling my order for my new car due to the lack of respect for the service department. He is rude also, saying that I can not cancel my order (this car that I ordered was NOT going to be built for 3months!). I tell him I am not argueing with him, and what to cancel my new car order and get my deposit refunded. He says no, all deposits are non-refundable. Fine I say, show me in writing where it I signed anything in writing where it said that, he says he can't but they are not refunding my deposit. I leave and stick my credit card on them, as i charged my deposit. After two months, they finally agreed to give my deposit back, only because my credit card refused to pay them. What crooks. More
The first night that we went in we dealt with a salesman that was willing to help and work with us. It was late when we arrived but agreed that we wanted to purchase the vehicle. They asked if we could return the next morning. Due to work schedules, we agreed to come the next day, but it would not be until six in the evening. We arrived at 6 exactly. We were greeted by a different salesman than the one we dealt with the night before. He then tells us our paperwork is not complete that we need to come back the following day. I refused since the cosigner was coming to sign the papers from a distance. After about an hour, they brought us back to sign the papers, none of which we agreed to the night before. All kinds of extra stuff was added into the total, none of which had been gone over with us. Now 2 weeks later, they are calling with a problem with the contract. Rude messages have been left on our machine, completely unprofessional. I wish we would have been able to keep our original salesperson he seemed honest and helpful. Obviously, the second one was trying to get his cut in the deal for telling us hello. Everything seemed as though we were a problem because we wanted it done that night and and it was all very rushed. Not something you would expect from a company that wants people to buy their cars. More
