As a financial advisor and car enthusiast I assist many clients in their car purchases. Just about a month ago a client needed a new to them car. They sent me a link to a VW at another local dealer. After coming to an agreed upon price I was told the cash price would be around $1500 more than the financing price. This is a horrible and very shady practice IMO. Well thank goodness almost the exact car just a different color was locate at Bert Smith. I called and Eon picked up. Within 5 min we agreed on a price ($800 less than competitor). No scams or hidden fees. Client showed up and the delivery was just as smooth as the purchase negotiation. Well yesterday another client needed a new to them car and my first call was to Eon. This was a financing deal. Again, so easy and very fair lending rates. Eon and Bert Smith took a transaction and turned it into a relationship. I am sure there will be many. Ore deals in the future! I brought my 2020 Subaru BRZ limited to Bert Smith Subaru for service. Staff raced, abused and wiped out in my 1 of a kind customized car in front of hundreds of people. Front and rear end collision damages. for service. Staff raced, abused and wiped out in my 1 of a kind customized car in front of hundreds of people. Front and rear end collision damages. They vandalized my car by doing things like long deep cuts in the dash board, dents and scratched all over the car requiring new front and back bumpers and every panel but the driver door to be removed for paint and body work; emptying my radiator and tampering with the sensor during oil change services and put sand in my engine bay and engine oil, and damaged my high performance engine by using the wrong gas. They stole everything from my pool stick case returning it with all of the pockets empty of memorabilia from a national championship win. The tech was driving my car home and habitually made charges to my toll account without authorization. $1,000 of aftermarket parts were broken and removed from my vehicle, Pete D'allessandro the manager sent me out a week before Christmas to replace these parts for reimbursement, when I did, he did not so much as look at the receipts and did not honor his word. He did this knowing that I have little children at home and acted like he thought it was cute to wreck my car and give it back to me with all the damages. Seth P Bell is the general manager, I went to him first and he orchestrated this abuse; Subsquent to this I did a background check which reveiled a long ugly criminal history including Aggravated Assault with Intent to Commit a Felony on the Interstate, Giving Alcohol to Minors, and several drugs charges and traffic violations. Subaru of America INC does not care. The police called this "bad service" and "a civil matter" with no willingness to look at damages or investigate because "there was a written contract." Pete did promise the police to pay for some of the damages but he ignored the receipts that were sent to him. Anggel Haak-Lucero on Facebook - details and photos are publicly posted. I was able to PROVE more than $3700 worth of body damages because my car had gone from a 3rd party body shop to Subaru for a handling diagnosis following an animal strike incident, and the 3rd party body shop had thoroughly documented the condition of the car. No one is being held accountable. Nothing has been made right. Total losses exceed $10,000, and the engine hasn't even had it's inspection yet because its going to be in the body shop for WEEKS before it goes to a different Subaru dealership for a full investigation. I put $9,900 down on a brand new Subaru in good faith in the commitment that Subaru makes to it's customers, I bought it from them 1 year before, and then they did this to me.
