First time Porsche buyer horrible service. As a first time Porsche buyer, our experience with Bert Smith Porsche could not have gone worse! It started with Vince, the sales manager, hanging up on me because he was in a hurry (and I was calling from overseas so I am sure he didn’t think I was serious). My wife then called James and purchased a 2019 Cayenne over the phone. We are out-of-state buyers and were reassured that they do 3 or 4 out-of-state deals a month! I don’t think so! All staff we dealt with in this dealership were inept and no one took responsibility during the entire transaction. We had the paperwork sent to us more than 6 times because it wasn’t proofread to make sure that there were no mistakes. It is disappointing that the customer purchasing a Porsche has to do the QA checking for the “so-called” professionals! Dino and Jerry (the finance team) were too busy to follow up on their mistakes or to communicate with each other, at one point my wife thought that we were being “punked” because of the continual stupidity displayed, if it wasn’t a serious transaction for us, it would be comical! We ended up having to recruit the BMW sales manager to get things sorted out because no one else would call us back. We were continually told “so and so does not know the procedure and what they told you is not true” so we have to do something else or do it again. If it wasn’t for our follow-through, the whole transaction would have taken more than the two weeks that it did to complete. At no stage did anyone from the sales/finance team call to follow up, nor was there any attempts made by any of the team to apologise for the poor experience. We were certainly never made feel like our business was important to them. Even when the car was about to be loaded on the truck, after being told by the sales manager that all paperwork was in order 30 minutes earlier, there was yet another mistake that had to be taken care of IMMEDIATELY or the car would not go. I swear that our deal was the first car that the dealership had ever sold… PERIOD! The whole transaction has left a bad taste in our mouths and was horrible from the start. If you are in the market for a Porsche I would recommend that you save yourself from pain and stay clear of Bert Smith. More

In for a recall notice Cameron greeted me by name, Corrine had all the paperwork ready to go when I arrived. Told her I needed to have the work finished by 2pm the next day (Thursday) due to medical reasons. She offered to let me keep the loaner until Friday until I told her I'd be in the hospital then. The car was ready to go before noon on Thursday. Loaner was a new Cayenne, Cameron showed me how the new style shifter worked. (Why did Porsche stoop to the American demand for SUV's?) More

Expensive service, but it’s a Porsche (our 3rd) and you take care of them and they will take you where you need to go in every weather and driving condition. More

I have always been very pleased with Porsche Service I started going to Bert Smith when I purchased my 2006 Cayenne-S... Bill Smith and the team were friendly and most important, very knowledgeable about I started going to Bert Smith when I purchased my 2006 Cayenne-S... Bill Smith and the team were friendly and most important, very knowledgeable about my car as well as my 84 Porsche 944. Right from the start Bill and his team seemed to have gone out of their way to provide every service they could for me... seeking out replacement for some still in warranty parts and explaining and showing me exactly what needed to be done. Now, years later I purchased the 2017 Macan GTS (used) from Rhette Graham and I LOVE my car. The only issue was a small leak in one tire and Bill, Mo and Corinne saw to the repairs and even the Tech gladly showed me the problems. All in all I have nothing but good things to say about the Service department and the great people that work there... Porsche's can be 'temperamental at times, and I for one like feeling I have them behind me and my car... AND, they do a great job washing the car with every service!!!!... Be nice to them, they are more than nice to you... things would be a lot worse without them. PS... The reason I bought my Macan GTS from Bert Smith is BECAUSE of Bill Smith and his team-GREAT people.
