My wife & I had a mostly, positive experience in buying a new 2021 Hybrid RAV4 from Berge Toyota in Mesa,AZ. Our sales rep, Will, was very, very polite & friendly and had a good knowledge of all the features new 2021 Hybrid RAV4 from Berge Toyota in Mesa,AZ. Our sales rep, Will, was very, very polite & friendly and had a good knowledge of all the features on our new car. The cons were there was no negotiating the MSRP. As a matter of fact we had to pay full price supposedly because of “supply & demand”. Most dealers seem to be taking advantage of this right now while there is a chip shortage going on in manufacturing vehicles. One of the biggest issues I had was that we had told them when we walked through the door that we were paying cash for a car and not financing and they ended up automatically setting us up through Toyota financial anyways. That was very frustrating as we were ready to cut a check for the car and pay it in full and ended up having to deal with Toyota financial and paying it off and having our credit check run when that was completely unnecessary. The second issue I had was that they had lost one of our key fobs on the day we went to pick up our car and take delivery. They resolved the issue by bringing the key to us a couple of days later since we were about 30 miles away. More
