I wouldn't advise shopping here. It is unfortunate that we still have these experiences but...this is the the type of dealerships that give dealers bad names. Predatory. I reached out since I live a state away to negotiate and work on a deal with my trade and a Ram they had on the lot. We discussed and went back and forth but we finally came to an agreement. I agreed on num work on a deal with my trade and a Ram they had on the lot. We discussed and went back and forth but we finally came to an agreement. I agreed on numbers with the dealership and then drove all the way from Mississippi to take delivery of the vehicle. They then decided to jack the agreed upon price up 5k. They are snakes and will not honor a commitment. I would avoid this dealership like the plague. More
Worst dealership ever. Will NEVER buy from them again, and I’ll be sure to share my experience with as many people as I can. Don’t go looking for an honest deal here. I pur Will NEVER buy from them again, and I’ll be sure to share my experience with as many people as I can. Don’t go looking for an honest deal here. I purchased a car and paid CASH for it. They didn’t want to sell me the one I had initially looked at online because “during inspection they found something wrong with alternator or radiator” well that was xx only to sell me another one that was 29k miles off from having warranty. He assured me that everything was good with it, previously been inspected and I, being 38 weeks pregnant, needed a reliable car. I told the salesman this several times. Nope he sold me a car that looked good only on the outside. Not even a month after taking it home the headache begun. The check engine light came on, I brought it to the dealership to have it checked, they CHARGED ME 165 to check it, and told me the catalytic converter needed to be replaced and it would cost me 2000. Almost 20k after, I refused but that’s all they could do, after all it had no warranty 🤬 the next day not only check engine light came on, a bunch of other lights came on and the car stopped running at a stop light…. I decided to have it looked at by my mechanic. Not only did it need a new battery, the connection on one side of the battery was so rusted it was cracked, it needed a new radiator, catalytic converter and the belt was about to snap. In other words, they TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME and sold me a car they knew was excuse my French.. xxxxED UP on the inside and they did this because they knew I was buying cash and since the warranty no longer covers after 100k miles it was their perfect opportunity to screw me over and just say well, too bad, nothing we can do. Instead of being honest they sold me that poc and knowing I was literally days away from having my baby. I cannot begin to express how angry I feel. Not only did I not have a car the day we had to go to the hospital for my baby’s birth because it was broken down. We had to find a way to get to the hospital at 3am and borrow a family member’s car. Now I’m home, when I should be enjoying my new baby having to deal with having no way of transportation and knowing I have to spend at least 5k more to replace all the issues on it. I have bought two other cars before. We have gone to Mazda in Pelham and they treated us with respect and honesty. Ever since gong in they greeted us and offered water, snacks etc. Benton didn’t even offer a water, but that’s not what I needed. I needed a reliable car, I didn’t mind not being greeted even, because we came in and nobody asked if we needed help, I had to ask around to talk to a salesman. My biggest mistake and regret is ever going to Benton Nissan in Hoover instead of going back to Mazda. The only reason I went here was because I had looked at their online inventory and I liked the car I initially wanted to buy… which was under 100k miles and would’ve had a warranty. But like I said I needed a reliable car since I was about to have a baby and at the time Mazda didn’t have a vehicle similar to what I wanted. Don’t go here. Don’t even think about it. I am just now feeling better and you better believe I’m going to tell as many people as I can not to buy here as well. You figure a good customer buying a car CASH would’ve been treated with a little better. They will literally take advantage of you and not bat an eye. More
