Before coming here, we had a terrible experience at another dealership. Our title was being held at another that location, so we called the number on Bell Road Toyota's Website, and spoke to Doreen, an another dealership. Our title was being held at another that location, so we called the number on Bell Road Toyota's Website, and spoke to Doreen, and told her what had happened. She let us know they could accommodate us and help us out and make our experience better, even through the phone, we felt a huge relief! Upon coming here, Doreen Fischer went above and beyond customer service duty to make us feel like she really wanted to get us into a vehicle we could afford and enjoy. She went out of her way to make us comfortable, and make this experience feel like we were the priority. We looked at a few cars, and found great used car, with low, low miles, at a very affordable price/rate. It had everything we were looking for in a vehicle, and some! Later in the day she brought in Ruben(sales) and we started in on the paperwork and the bank information. Originally, the price was a little higher than I was wanting, but thanks to them working so hard, they were able to bring it into my price range monthly, AND beat the apr% that I was previously getting/expecting (at the terrible dealership), making it 120% affordable. I had overall the best experience at this dealership, than any other I've been too. Her and Ruben(Sales) were so friendly, and made the atmosphere very stress free. Even the finance guy was great and friendly! I will definitely be coming back here, specifically for them. More

Bell Road Toyota was the most helpful of five dealerships I visited. They were the only dealer who seemed to really care about what I wanted and did not try to push me into buying a vehicle. I had bad experi I visited. They were the only dealer who seemed to really care about what I wanted and did not try to push me into buying a vehicle. I had bad experiences at two dealers and debated wether I should continue shopping for a vehicle. Ruben, Michael and Brian were both friendly and professional. When we are ready to trade are Infiniti I will definitely look to Toyota/Lexus as the replacement. Thank you. Bob Addis. More
I LOVE this dealership! My purchase was fairly easy with little stress and regular maintenance is a breeze thanks to Chad Hinson. Chad seems to always remember me and the service on my FJ Cruiser. The dea little stress and regular maintenance is a breeze thanks to Chad Hinson. Chad seems to always remember me and the service on my FJ Cruiser. The dealership is laid out extremely well and everyone there seems to always want to help. If you ever need service, or even a vehicle (new or used) definitely check out Bell Road Toyota. I can't give them high enough marks. I even bring my husband's car to them although it is a PT Cruiser. The PT dealerships are horrible with poor service so with my excellent experience with Bell Road Toyota, we decided that was the only place we would go for service. Check this place out and ask for Chad! More

Cora worked hard to get me through the process and I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done for me. She has made an impact on my life that she may not even know that she did....I am very grateful to Cora. Cora has not only assisted myself in getting a vehicle but she has also helped my son in law and daughter and is currently helping my youngest daughter as well... Don was a pleasure to meet he made the process fun and was very informative explaining everything along the way.... I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Bell Toyota and have referred others to Bell Road as well and have given them Cora's name to contact. Thank You again Cora, Don and Bell Toyota I love my Rav4! More
To begin, I am rating this dealer an overall 3+ and I would recommend them. That said, they are very similar to all the big city car dealerships I have dealt with. Just be aware of this before you go t would recommend them. That said, they are very similar to all the big city car dealerships I have dealt with. Just be aware of this before you go to Bell Road Toyota. That said, if I were only rating the salesman (Bob Gilbert), I would easily give him a 5. He is by far the best salesman I have ever worked with. He takes the time to understand what his customers want, and does not try to pressure them into something else. Plus, his follow up after the sale is second to none. If you decide to look at a vehicle at Bell Road Toyota, do yourself a favor and work with Bob. He is an asset to Bell Road Toyota and really, the ONLY reason I am recommending them. We went vehicle shopping one weekend and test drove a used Highlander. We were not going to purhcase a vehicle that weekend as we tested many different makes and models. So, over the course of the week, we negotiatied the price via email. Once we reached a price I was comfortable with, we went back to the dealership for one more test drive. At this point, we decided to purchase the Highlander. From here, we went into the sales office where Bob worked with his sales manager, Josh, to prepare a document that is similar to a "bill of sale" document. It listed the price of the Highlander, Tax (9.3%), estimated title/registration fees, the Doc fee of $389. It also had a line item for "Anti-theft registration" for $289. Although I'm pretty sure on this particular form the theft registration was not listed as "optional", I insisted it be removed. The form also had a line for the amount we were putting down. So the bottom number is what would be financed. Also at this point they will try to ask what you want your payments to be. I recommend you come prepared. Know your credit and what rate you would qualify for. Use an online loan calculator to figure out what your payment would be. The dealer wants to talk "monthly payment" with you so they can try to figure out how they can make more money, via add on charges or higher interest rate. Your best option is to get financing through your bank ahead of time. Don't tell the dealer this until you agree to a price on the car. Then you can just give them the check from your bank. We elected to finance through the dealer to take advantage of the 2.9% on Toyota Certified Used Vehicles. The next step is to wait to get into finance. This can take a while depending on how many people purchased vehicles. We had to wait 2+ hours. Here I met Bryan. By this time our 17 month old son was well past due for a nap, so I told Bryan I would review with him, then bring in my wife to sign the documents. He stated he had things to go over with both of us. I told him I knew what he was going to review (gap coverage, warranties, etc.) and that I didn't want any of them. I said I was being honest to try to save time, figuring he might as well get on to the next customer who may actually purchase these items. Bryan seemed incredibly irritated by this, and from this point on, was very short, rude, and disrespectful to me. At least he granted my request and saved the sales pitch of these additional items. In finance, you will be asked to sign many MVD documents, etc. You will also be presented with a more formal "bill of sale" type document, similar to the one completed in sales. However, on this form, it is clearly noted the Anti-Theft registration for $289 is OPTIONAL. Be sure this is not included in the final amounts. Also, you will be asked to sign a "Paint Protection" form that costs $100+. When I saw the form, I told Bryan I didn't want it. He said it was already on the vehicle and I had to purchase it. I told him then I wouldn't be buying the vehicle. Sure enough it was removed. I also had Bryan pull out the "bill of sale" document from when I was working with the sales staff. I told him the numbers needed to match. He sure didn't seem happy that they weren't going to be able to make any extra money off me, but he ended up recalculating the forms. Lastly, on the bill of sale document, you will see the estimated registration/title fees. You sign that these are estimated and that you will not get a plate credit after the sale. NOTE: They amount put in is an estimate for a full year of registration. However, in AZ, it is all based off when the vehicle was first registered. So, if the car was first registered in October 2008 and you are buying the vehicle in July 2010, when you get the tags a few weeks later, they will only be valid for 3 months, to October 2010. The amount the state gets is pro-rated, and in October, you would have to renew for a whole year. So, before purchasing the vehicle, get the VIN, contact the MVD via phone or through the online fee calc (Google Search "service Arizona EZ Fee Calc"). You can enter the VIN and get the amount the tags will be. Add about $15-20 to this total for Title, air quality and tire fee. Tell the dealership you want this amount entered as estimated, not their full year estimate. The "bill of sale" document clearly states that if the estimate is low, you will be contacted to make up the difference. However, they estimate the full year so they can pocket the extra cash since you also sign there will be no plate refunds after the sale. I screwed up on this and it cost me about $65.00. Finally, carefully read the line items on the finance document to be sure they match the bill of sale document, and nothing was added in. I recommend making a spreadsheet at home with the price of the vehicle, 9.3% tax, $389 doc fee, estimated registration obtained from the MVD plus $15 for title. This will give you the total price. Subtract any amount you are putting down, and you have your total finance amount. Be sure their "bill of sale" document and the final finance document matches your spreadsheet amount within a few dollars. This will ensure you are not paying anything extra. As you can tell from my long post, it is quite the process. We arrived at 10:00, having already had the price of the vehicle negotiated via email. I didn't end up leaving the dealership until 4:00. This included waiting another hour and a half to get the second key I negotated for. AS I stated, this dealer is typical from every big city dealership I have ever bought from. They will try to make extra money here and there in addition to the price of the vehicle. Watch out for this. Be knowledgable and do some research - calculate the total cost at home. In doing this, you can get a decent deal without a bunch of add ons. Just be ready to walk out if you don't get what you expect. No matter how much you like the vehicle you are looking at, there will always be another one available down the road. Again, Bob Gilbert is sales is great. I highly recommend him. However, Josh the sales manager became very unfriendly once I demanded a second key and told him I would not buy the vehicle without it. Not once did he thank me for my business. The same can be said for Bryan in finance. To me, logic dictates that if I am not going to buy the add ons he is trying to sell, it is better for both of us to get it done as quick as possible. It gets me out of there and gets him working with the next customer who might purchase the products. Similar to Josh, Bryan never thanked me for my business. These two were extremely unprofessional and in my opionion, are a liablilty to Bell Road Toyota. If this review were based only on Bryan and Josh, it would be a rating of 1 and I wouldn't recommend the dealership to anyone. Recap of fees I found that you don't want to pay: $289 Anti-Theft registration $100+ paint protection Full year of "estimated" registration fees - check with MVD for actual fees. More
We were dealing with a used car salesman named Jim, when we decided to take an extra day to decide on our purchase he became very belligerant and flat out rude. We were going to take our business to another dealer but Larry Banks called us a few minutes after leaving the dealership and convinced us to come back and deal with him only regarding our purchase. We eventually did go back and make a purchase strictly because of Larry Banks, he saved a sale for Toyota and will most likely get our business in the future. Larry did an exceotional job and bent over backwards to make up for the previous salesman's lack of professionalism and integrity. More
