We purchased our new 2024 Prius XLE online with the assistance of Dean Uddin, the Internet Sales Manager. We have never purchased a vehicle this way but it was very easy and seamless. The service provider Aaron Cheesmond sold me a Converter Protection insurance for $300 and it was a scam. DO NOT buy any insurance from "Dealer Loyalty Protection". I was under the impression this was an in Protection insurance for $300 and it was a scam. DO NOT buy any insurance from "Dealer Loyalty Protection". I was under the impression this was an insurance directly through Toyota since it has the word dealer in the title. But no, this is a separate company that is a scam. Doesn't answer phone calls, emails, claim submissions. Look up reviews for them online. Everyone will tell you the same thing. It's a disgrace that Bell Road Toyota sells people this and, in a time, when customers are vulnerable and emotional after having their catalytic converter stolen. The insurance pamphlet says you can't get a new converter without your claim being accepted... Well, I need my truck and they haven't answered any of my attempts to reach them. Complete scam. When this all started, I called Aaron Cheesmond to ask how to get a new converter and of course no answer. I left a voicemail and of course I never heard back. SAVE YOURSELF the $300 and stress. I went into Toyota for my lease service, I walked out the door with a new BMW instead, traded in my lease. It was a pleasant experience.
