The next d While looking online for a Tundra Crewmax, I found such a vehicle on Car Gurus on 4/16/20. It was a 2020 Tundra Crewmax listed for $42,796. The next day I met the salesman and did a test drive. I was interested and asked for the starting price. The salesman came back to tell me the vehicle was listing for over $56,000. I showed him the print off I made the night before, I showed the salesman the print out pointing out his offer was more than $10,000 over the price listed on Car Guru. He brought out his manager, who didn't introduce himself, and said it was a mistake, he minimized it and said it was a typo, he said it wasn't a bait and switch, although sure felt like it. Especially when he said they have another Tundra on the lot that was less expensive. I tried that out, told them I wouldn't go over a certain amount. After waiting on them for a while the price they came back with was way over what I said my max was. I found the process disrespectful, suspicious and untrustworthy. Take a look at the definition of bait and switch, it sounds a lot like what happened to me. They ,made no attempt to make it right, they just wanted me off the lot. More

I recently purchased a new Toyota Highlander from Bell Road Toyota. The sales rep Corey and Terry Wilde in financing were great when making the deal and going through sales process. However, there was an Road Toyota. The sales rep Corey and Terry Wilde in financing were great when making the deal and going through sales process. However, there was an issue with my license plate being misplaced or lost. When I contacted both Corey and Terry regarding the license plate issue, I was given the run around and told that they would call me back. I did not receive a call back and had to keep calling them. Since I did not receive any call back, I ended up going back up to the dealership and speaking with a manager. The manager was very nice and helpful. The manager finally told me that a new license plate was ordered and would be mailed to my home. I asked the manager why couldn't Corey or Terry let me know that? The manager said he was not sure. I said communication is all I needed. After the sale was done, they were not helpful. This is not good if you want repeat customers More
POOR SERVICE DEPT. Two weeks ago I had my car in for recall repairs. Once there I was told it would be two weeks for parts.Additionally, they failed to fix another issue I had asked them to do. I received no call two weeks later, so I called the dealership, who stated the part was in, and we scheduled for several days later. Upon arriving at the service center I waited 13 minutes to meet the assigned representative, Billy S. While I was waiting a man came up to me, inspected my windshield and attempted to tell me he could have the "hardly visible" chip fixed. I passed, as for the two weeks prior I had been harassed with calls and emails about their "suggestions" on other needed work. When originally approached about this I explained I DID just get new windshield wipers just that week and my brakes were looked at 5 days before and were good for at least a year. Billy was surprised and said, " Yeah, I see that. I was just telling you that. At home I noticed a rear light now broken and brought it to his attention. Today when I arrived for my scheduled appointment he advised me the only person who could do the work was not scheduled to work today. He advised I leave my car until tomorrow. Due to my work schedule, that was impossible. He blamed me for not calling and speaking to him personally when scheduling. I was unaware that was the rule .I said I would contact another dealership and he yelled "Yeah, well they'll have to order the part and you will be another two weeks waiting. Good luck with that." I guess I am not surprised, they wanted to charge me several hundred dollars for a while back for what they said was an electrical issue with my rear door, when in fact it was a lego blocking a sensor. Needle nose pliers and I pulled it out at no cost. We live in a very rude, selfish world, but I will use this as a teaching moment for my middle school students. Another warning about car dealerships. More
