I brought my car in to have an air conditioning problem diagnosed. Some additional services were recommended to me, and I agreed to have the spark plugs replaced and the valve adjustments since my car is diagnosed. Some additional services were recommended to me, and I agreed to have the spark plugs replaced and the valve adjustments since my car is close to 90,000 miles. In regards to the a/c, it was noted that the aftermarket cabin filter was restricting air flow so it was recommended I replace it with an OEM filter. I declined this service, since it would’ve been $90 and I can easily purchase and replace the cabin filter myself for much cheaper. When my car was returned to me, I noticed the air conditioning was making a high pitched whistling noise. A few days later, I returned to Bell Honda and purchased a genuine Honda cabin filter. When I went to replace it, I pulled out the old filter and found it completely crumpled and torn, as if it had been carelessly shoved into the slot. I replaced it with the Honda filter I purchased and my a/c is working fine now. I am extremely disappointed in how my car was returned to me, especially after spending over $1,000 for all the other service items. Communication from the advisor was also not great. I had to call more than once to ask questions about the recommended services and to make sure my car would be ready before the service center closed at 5pm. More
