Andy was great to work with and the rest of the staff was friendly as well. I didn't feel too pressured to make a decision and I didn't feel like I was getting repeatedly contacted by the dealership after m friendly as well. I didn't feel too pressured to make a decision and I didn't feel like I was getting repeatedly contacted by the dealership after my initial visit. He spent a lot of time with us and we went on multiple test drives. He never acted like we should be making a decision faster. More

I live in Eugene, OR about 2 1/2 hours away from this dealership. We were looking for a 2008 Toyota Sequoia and had only two requests...that it have navigation and a middle bench seat. I saw one on the dealership. We were looking for a 2008 Toyota Sequoia and had only two requests...that it have navigation and a middle bench seat. I saw one on their website that matched what we needed so I e-mailed the dealership. I got a response from the salesman, Doc Way, about 2 hours later. I called back repeatedly and talked to Mr. Way with numerous questions as we wanted to make sure the vehicle had ALL options that we wanted before making the 5 hour round trip. I verified with Mr. Way that the vehicle did have navigation and a middle bench seat 5 different times. In fact, on one occasion when I called he was in the vehicle on a test drive with another couple that was considering it but did not buy it. Mr. Way also e-mailed me and stated that the vehicle did have the navigation system. I asked Mr. Way if we could negotiate a price in advance due to the long distance involved and he said we could. We agreed on a price and Mr. Way said he would put a "Sold" sign in the window. We made an appointment to be there the following morning at 9am. Later that evening, Mr. Way called to say he would not be there but Kyle Brost would handle everything. We got up at 5am to get our 5 month old baby ready for the trip and made the 2 1/2 hour trip to Beaverton arriving at 9am. Mr. Brost met us and seemed very nice. He took me over to the vehicle to inspect it. When I opened the door we found out the vehicle did not have navigation. I asked if this was the right vehicle and he said it was. In fact, the "Sold" sign was setting right on top of where the navigation unit would normally be. I looked at the window sticker and the window sticker also said the vehicle had a navigation unit, even though the vehicle did not. So, we made a 2 1/2 hour trip each way with a 5 month old, only to be told that Mr. Way had been lying to us. I asked to talk to a manager and Mr. Brost got Josh Ford. I explained to Mr. Ford the situation and all he would say is "I'm sorry, Doc Way must have just made a mistake and not looked inside the vehicle". Again, Mr. Way was inside the vehicle on one of my phone calls with him and Mr. Way got inside the vehicle to place the "Sold" sign on the dash. There is simply no way this was a mistake. Mr. Ford took about 15 minutes in the back "working on the problem", only to come out and say all that he could do is pay to have an aftermarket navigation system installed and would not even consider renegotiating the price. I explained to him that the Toyota Navigation system had many functions such as Bluetooth and a 14 speaker upgraded sound system that this other system would not have and that it was a $4,000+ upgrade while their aftermarket navigation system lacked all of those features and was a $1,000 item. He again refused to offer any other solutions and simply said "Sorry you wasted your time coming up here". I explained to him that we felt this was not just dishonest, but criminal...they falsely advertised a vehicle and misrepresented the options that the vehicle had and it cost us over $500 in lost wages and fuel. Mr. Ford became very antagonistic and stated that "they never guaranteed us that the vehicle would have a FACTORY navigation system", and that their intent from the start was too simply install an aftermarket system. I have maintained a full paper trail of every e-mail and phone conversation that I had with Mr. Way...and also took photographs showing that the vehicle was advertised as having a navigation system but did not have one. In fact, when I returned home, the vehicle was still advertised on the website as having a navigation system. So, I took a day off work, wasted a tank of gas, and took 5+ hours out of my day to make a trip and look at a vehicle that this dealer already knew would not work for our family. In addition to this, Mr. Ford stated their intent was to talk us into accepting an aftermarket navigation system instead of the factory from the beginning. I find Mr. Way and Mr. Ford to both be dishonest at best and criminals in my opinion. We've talked to our attorney in regards to what actions are available for us to recoup the considerable expense we've incurred as a result of this dealerships dishonest employees. We've been told the first steps to take are to talk to the General Manager, then file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Agency as this could potentially fall into the internet fraud category. He also said we can file a complaint directly with Toyota Corporation. We will definitely be doing everything we can to see that this crooked dealership is not allowed to rip off any other consumers. In my opinion dishonest and antagonistic employee's like Doc Way and Josh Ford should NOT be allowed to have a position dealing with consumers who rely on them for truthful information. I would encourage any others who have had such an expe More
Since 1991 I have bought 4 cars from Beaverton Toyota and have had all my service done from them. They have never let me down. They're always friendly, professional and give me great deals. Their service have had all my service done from them. They have never let me down. They're always friendly, professional and give me great deals. Their service department is the best. I suspect that is because of the great regular maintenance they do on my cars that I never have mechanical problems and drove one of the cars up to 175,000 miles. I always come away from there very satisfied. I strayed from this dealer to buy a car for my daughter (she wanted a specific car at Dick Hannah Kia) and have regretted it ever since. Nothing but trouble from that dealer with both the dealer's business practices and the quality of their cars. BACK TO BEAVERTON TOYOTA FOR ME. More
I am really dissapointed in this dealership. I have previously bought 2 other new Toyotas from another dealership in Texas and it was a fantastic experience. I just assumed it was a Toyota thing. I previously bought 2 other new Toyotas from another dealership in Texas and it was a fantastic experience. I just assumed it was a Toyota thing. I went to the dealership to look at a 09 Corolla S.I pulled into the lot and walked a little way before someone approached me and I told him I was looking for the new Corollas. He pointed. So..I walked along and found one and spent a few minutes looking before someone else came over. I could barely understand him as his english was poor. I decided to test drive it and then it took them 20 minutes to find the key. The salesperson was not very knowledgeable and didn't really answer my questions. (Luckily I had done extensive research before going.)And to top it all off...THE SALESMAN FELL ASLEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TEST DRIVE! Despite all this I decided to apply since the 09 Corolla S is a hot commodity and couldn't find one anywhere else. It took an hour before the floor manager came back with some figures and of course was delayed long enough that the banks were all closed for the day. I was not happy with what they presented and they flat refused to come down on the price. I told them to hold off until I spoke with my finance company the next day. I called my finance company and told them the information that was given to me. They said they didn't see any problem with getting financing again. I called the manager fist thing that morning to let him know to go ahead and submit the application. It took me over 2 hours of calling and leaving messages before he finally called me back. He said he would submit everything and call me back within the hour. 2 hours later I call back and he says it doesn't look good but he hasn't heard back from the god knows how many finance companies he shotgunned my application to.My credit is not great but it's actually even better since I bought a brand new car 2 years ago. To end this..... OVER 24 HOURS AND NO PHONE CALL! A little courtesy and respect is all I ask for! On the other hand,, I did go to Royal Moore to see what they had after I left Beaverton and got fantastic customer service even though they didn't have any Corolla's left. Them I will give a 5 star just in that category. More
