Doc Way was our sales rep, and he was outstanding. Doc listened to our wants and needs and helped us find a great car. Their prices are fair if not lower than local competition. At 59 years young this was my most pleasant car purchase experience ever. My wife and I were interested in a Prius & met Doc Way over a year ago. Doc never made us feel rushed and was willing to spend quality time with us as we picked his brain regarding a Prius. I have had some pretty ugly and offensive experiences purchasing cars and I would call it one of my least favorite indoor sports. My experience with Beaverton Toyota and Doc was totally pleasant. He and the new car sales manager Dan Perez shot us a very fair deal on our trade and our new Prius. The atmosphere inside the dealership was more relaxed than I have experienced at other dealers. Doc took the time after our purchase to introduce us to Rick Fernandez the Asst. Service Manager, Pete Petersen & Manoj Singh in parts, and others. An impressive item we noticed was many of the people we met had been with the dealership well over ten years. That speaks volumes to me and says the culture must be a good one which directly relates to my enjoyable experience. People who enjoy their work and who they work for communicate that in the way they serve clients. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family without hesitation. More
I am a first time car buyer and a first time review poster (for anything. ever.). I started my car search at another dealership and had what I felt was a disappointing, stereotypical "car salesman" exp poster (for anything. ever.). I started my car search at another dealership and had what I felt was a disappointing, stereotypical "car salesman" experience. I continued my search online and came across Beaverton Toyota. Although I live within walking distance from another Toyota dealership I decided to make the drive from Portland because the selection was so impressive. A bit discouraged from the previous experience topped with a feeling that my price range was completely unreachable I was hesitant to get into another car negotiation. But I'm so glad I did! I met with Shaun, who, despite my arriving less than 30 minutes from closing, allowed me to take my time and look at a number of different cars. Never once did I feel pressured to make a decision one way or another. When I found the one I wanted and it was time to talk about the numbers, not only did Shaun patiently help me get to the payment range I needed by giving me options I never would have thought to ask for (and I did my research!), he was able to get me great financing. Something I didn't think was possible being a first time car buyer. The entire process felt completely comfortable. I have already recommended Beaverton Toyota to everyone I can think of. I am almost grateful to have had the initial negative experience with the other dealership because now I know that I don't have to settle for anything less than the best service. I would encourage anyone who has had an undesirable car buying experience to visit Shaun and his crew at Beaverton Toyota and have your faith renewed. I am ecstatic! We bought a used Mercedes Benz, 2001, C240 on August 8th. The car was in beautiful condition and was delivered to us looking like a brand new car. We had not purchased a car from a dealership in many years and were amazed at the amount of paperwork involved, but the same thing has happened to other industries, so we'd just as well get used to it! I doubt that, at our ages, we will be purchasing any more cars, but we'll certainly recommend Beaverton Toyota if the opportunity comes up. More
I have never seen a management team work so hard to help me out and make me feel like the most important customer. It takes a lot for a dealership to really make a good impression on me just because my past me out and make me feel like the most important customer. Staff is so unbelieavably nice, helpful, and eager to please. Finance really helped me get the price I wanted so I drove off a very happy camper last night! Thanks to everyone at Beaverton Toyota! My wife and I purchased a gently used ford explorer with low miles during a snow storm in December of 2008 and were so impressed that we returned to Beaverton Toyota when she was ready for something new. The staff was just as friendly and relaxed as they were during our first purchase. This time however, the used vehicle we purchased developed a problem during the first few days we had it and we noticed a chip in the windshield. The staff was VERY accommodating! They had the chip repaired and were working on the engine issue when my wife decided to just give it back and buy something else. After a couple test drives, we settled on a Certified RAV4. Somewhere during that week they found time to purchase a practically new Subaru Legacy Sedan I had looked at and fell in love with from another dealership so that I could get a better deal on my trade from them! I will recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone! More
Beaverton Toyota staff, especially Drew, Josh, and Mo are AWESOME! They know how to treat their customers. They give you space when needed. They don’t smother you or push you to buy. In the number of times we've ended up at their dealership, a couple of those times were just before closing hour and they didn’t rush us out of there after closing hours just so they can get home. They were patient and understanding of the importance of the process and us as customers. They made every effort to insure that we were 110% happy. I bought a used Ford Explorer in Dec 08, which I loved. Mo Jafarri was our salesman. We were so pleased with his service, that we requested him when we returned. Unfortunately it was his day off, however he still got partial credit for the sale. Drew assisted us in Mo's absense. He too provided awesome service. We returned to find something with lower payments and better gas (as long as it was a 4x4 or AWD). Even if I could only meet one of those goals, at least I was saving money. I ended up trading in my Explorer/driving away with used 08 trailblazer LS. There was a knick in the windshield when I purchased it. Beaverton Toyota immediately addressed the issue and got it fixed for me. But for some reason, I just didn't feel 100% satisfied with the trailblazer. I didn't like it. I couldn't put my finger on why. I knew I had 7 days to exchange it so I was looking at other vehicles on the lot. I found one I really liked but according to the carfax it had been in an accident in the past. That worried me but I still test drove it, twice, on two separate occassions! I almost bought it. I think I must have visited the dealership about 5 times in a matter of a week. After I test drove it for the second time, Josh and Drew knowing I was having a hard time, had Drew park a certified used 08 Toyota Rav 4 (with lower mileage on it than the trailblazer or my Explorer) next to the other vehicle I just test drove. He wanted to give me options and get me to a point of 'comfortable, satisfied, happy'. I'm SO glad he did. Good decision on his part because I bought the Toyota. I fell in love with it from the moment I saw it (beautiful color/flawless)...and when I drove it... WOW! Loved it!!! I only accomplished one goal which was lower gas. My payments are the same as the Explorer, which I am okay with cause I have a better, newer car that I love, and once the car is paid off, I have piece of mind knowing my gas is cheaper! We were also in the process of looking for a car for my husband so we could get rid of his gas guzzling Dodge. We did shop other lots, but hated the way we were dealt with. My husband found a car that he was practically in love with but it was at another dealership. We went and checked it out, test drove it, etc.. We walked away from that place because of how we were being treated. My husband wanted that car so bad! So, we called up Beaverton Toyota and told them about our experience and situation. They said they are going to check and see if they can buy the car from that other dealership, so that they (Beaverton Toyota) can sell it to us (they of course had to make sure the car fit our budget first). Well, my husband and I got a call from Beaverton Toyota. The numbers fit our budget! They bought the car from the other dealership and sold it to us! Beaverton Toyota ROCKS! They have given us multiple "Sweet Deals”, always listen to what we ask for, and have bent over backward to make us happy. We are sharing our story with everyone we know, posting on facebook, filling out online reviews, etc.!! I've dealt with many dealerships in my lifetime, but this one stands out and is the best hands down! More
