Brought my mom here when she needed a car to handle snow where she lives. Tony helped her pick out the perfect one and answered all of her questions. This car was a cash purchase so we did not have any experience with the finance area. Tony was very disarming of an overall annoying process (I do not enjoy car purchase drama). I appreciated his service and help all the way though enough that a few months later I went back & bought myself a new car from him. That time I did work though the finance area and was very pleased with how the entire process went. While I do take my car their for all its regular service, I do call around on prices quoted & ultimately have some work (brakes) at better priced shops. I feel the service pricing however is not reflected in car prices which are quite competitive. I have refered a few friends to this dealership & will go back again when its time for another. More
Buying a car - any car from anybody - is like going to the dentist. You know you have to do it sooner or later, and you want the outcome, but the experience can be difficult. But we really wanted to see what the new Toyotas were like, and the only way to do that was to go to a Toyota dealership. That's pretty much the attitude we went into Beaverton Toyota with. BT hadn't always had the best reputation; early on, pressure tactics and hard selling seemed to have built a wall around their corner. We'd decided that if they treated us in any other than a professional, "adult" manner, we'd thank them and move on. Well, the first person we met was Antonyo Pena, who greeted us, introduced himself to both me AND my wife, and offered us coffee or water. We may have been his 20th (potential) customer, but we wouldn't have known it. Mr. Pena made us feel we were the only folks he'd dealt with all day. He asked us all the normal questions, helping us define the type of car we wanted, and how much we could afford to spend. Antonyo took notes! He listened! and as we talked, we gradually felt we didn't have to be on guard with him. It was obvious, to me at least, that he'd learned sales process very well and knew how to do his job. The more we worked with Antonyo, it was obvious that BT, too, had learned a lot over the years. Not an ounce of pressure, only the answering of questions, and the handling of any doubts. Sure, their job is to sell cars - but they way they're going about it is completely different than the process most folks are used to and dread. We felt every number we saw was reasonable, our questions answered, and that our desires had been met. Through all of it, Mr. Pena worked as our ally and - financial gain aside - wanted us to have the Prius we eventually leased. I would, and have, recommended Beaverton Toyota to friends and acquaintances. And I tell them, basically, what is written above. That BT is professional, their dealership is spotless and organized - their new service department is amazing - and the car is exactly the right fit for us. Yeah, it sounds corny, but we felt they helped us buy, not sold, it to us. We have no regrets, love the car - 50mpg who wouldn't? - and intend on returning to BT when this lease is up. More
In April 2013, we purchased two vehicles, a 2013 Scion XB and a 2012 Toyota Corolla. Both vehicles have been performing really well. Our experiences at Beaverton Toyota have been more then favorable. I came in looking for a camery and was greeted promptly by Ron Chirrick. He was very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot and spent some time with me while I was looking. Tony was an excellent salesperson. He did not push me to purchase a car. Instead he carefully listened to what I wanted and then helped locate the car for me.
