I was visiting my sister in the Portland area for a few weeks and had some time to assist her in the purchase of a brand new RAV4 hybrid with the special combination of specs and color options she desired. weeks and had some time to assist her in the purchase of a brand new RAV4 hybrid with the special combination of specs and color options she desired. She had already test driven the model and knew exactly what she wanted, so that made it much easier to shop around. I called every Toyota dealer in the Portland area only to hear repeatedly that the specs/color combo she wanted was scarce and hard to find. Some said we would have to make a special order, which could take awhile. Others said maybe they could find one at another dealership. A few dealerships sounded pessimistic and never called back. A couple others made some effort, but ultimately didn't come through. Beaverton Toyota was the only dealership that called back and had any real confidence they could find the RAV4 my sister wanted. Dan, the inventory manager, was quite helpful. He quickly secured the elusive color/package combo that none of the other local dealers were able to pin down. I was then connected to a salesperson, Alex. He kept me informed on when they expected the vehicle would arrive. After explaining that my sister would have a limited time window to visit the dealership and finalize a deal, Alex assured us he could help make that happen. We were offered a no-haggle, non-negotiable quote on the vehicle, which I'm not always a fan of, but their quote was actually quite fair and beat the quotes of every other dealership in the area. The trade-in quote they offered for my sister's old RAV4 was also the best offer we heard from any dealership. Upon arriving to close the deal, we discovered that Alex would handle both the sale details and the financing options. What a refreshingly streamlined approach. He definitely respected the limited time my sister had available. BIG KUDOS to BEAVERTON TOYOTA!! Take your business here if you want a fair, haggle-free price up front, a streamlined purchase process, a reasonable and not-too-pushy pitch on an extended service warranty or other optional add-ons, and respect for your time. Check this ! ..... after a few emails and texts from home, 3 hours away, we drove Sunday morning the 25th of Oct. to meet up with Stephen Krepps to purchase and pick up our new AWD Prius. He still had to get us through credit application and trade in inspection. Two hours we were finished ! We were home at 4 pm ! This is our third Prius from Beaverton Toyota as their "CLEAR" purchase program has allowed us the 2nd prius and the now 3 rd Prius to be purchased by us with NO money out of pocket at All ! Just our trade in ! We always use their service department even though we're so far away as it's a very large, super high tech facility.
