I had a windshield crack caused by the integrated wiper de-icer -- it suddenly cracked one morning while using it. I brought it in and the service manager started looking at it. He wouldn't listen to me or believe me that it even had this feature (it was later confirmed). His assessment was that it was a rock chip that caused a weak spot. He showed me the spot where the "chip" was, but it looked like no rock chip I've ever seen (very clean w/no spidering and down low). In his 5 minutes of looking at it, he declared that Toyota won't cover it and wouldn't even entertain the possibility that it wasn't what he said it was. Another employee, Patrice, was great, though. She went out of her way to get me information on getting a replacement at a reasonable cost since it would be out of my pocket. There are three Toyotas in my driveway, all purchased at Beaverton Toyota. I'm pretty sure I'll be driving a little further next time I purchase a car. More

I haven't had to get major components replaced, just simpler periodic maintenance services so I can't comment on their ability to solve complex car problems but every experience with Beaverton Toyota's service so far has been phenomenal. Great sales process, bad trade in process The sales person was low pressure and great to deal with. I don't like that the website has a lot of cars they can't find or don't have but that is un The sales person was low pressure and great to deal with. I don't like that the website has a lot of cars they can't find or don't have but that is understandable. The salesman ran and found me the car and did an amazing job. The negative came on the trade-in and the used car manager. They told me they don't negotiate on the value and offered me a trade in for $6k less than a not as nice similar car on the lot. I know they have to make money as a business but that didn't seem reasonable. So when I went to walk away, which is fine, they negotiated and the manager told me, very sternly, that he wasn't doing this for me, he was doing this for his salesman. I said okay and felt pretty poorly about the deal. Note, the salesperson was great through this whole process and was kind, upfront, and very helpful. I would say make the seller understand the value of the trade and why you are offering what you are offering would be good, not just 'it is what it is.' I didn't walk away feeling good about the transaction unfortunately. Great car and good value in the end I think. More
