Bad experience I recently purchased my first Toyota at Beaverton Toyota and due to a very bad experience this will be my LAST Toyota. The problem was that the sales I recently purchased my first Toyota at Beaverton Toyota and due to a very bad experience this will be my LAST Toyota. The problem was that the salesman did not disclose all the fees until the final closing which due to circumstances I had no alternative but to continue with the purchase. The manager came to the discussion and did not present himself nor give me a card. I asked him if he would fix the problem and he emphatically said no. I am disappointed that Toyota America supports this type of behavior by a dealership. I am further appalled that Beaverton Toyota would for such a small amount discredit both their dealership and Toyota Brand. I had looked forward to owning and driving Toyota, but with this experience it is difficult to even look at the vehicle. It is completely unacceptable for only $315.00 in a $50,000.00 purchase to create this situation. I would not recommend this dealership or unfortunately Toyota to anyone for purchasing a vehicle. Probably Never Going Here Again Your service management team really blew this appointment for me. First, I am quite confident that I put down on my service request I needed an unus Your service management team really blew this appointment for me. First, I am quite confident that I put down on my service request I needed an unusual sound looked at (the car makes a "clunk" sound when I put it into reverse). I was told at the appointment that no such note was attached to my service request and they didn't have time to look at it. But let's start at the beginning, shall we? I arrived on time and was greeted almost immediately by someone who took my name, mileage, and put a cone on top of my car. Then I waited at least 5-10 minutes (while every single person who arrived after me was taken care of) for my service person to come out. This was a young woman (very pleasant) who took me back to her desk to start the entry paperwork. It was clear from the outset that she didn't know what she was doing. Not because she was incompetent, but because management and her fellow team members SET HER UP FOR FAILURE. She got my name but struggled to find me in the computer system. Why? Because management hadn’t given her a password yet! Really?? Then why was she even working with customers? She was so nice and was clearly trying to do a good job. She said she had only been working there a week. Really?? Then why wasn’t she given a password to help customers? She kept trying to get the attention of the service person in front of her, who clearly was ignoring her. This is totally unprofessional. What an xxx! She finally got a password from him. Then she got into the system and tried to get info on what service I needed. I thought I needed an oil change but I did not receive proper communication on what a synthetic oil change was versus a regular oil change. I became totally confused thinking I needed an oil change when it turned out I didn’t. So, I got an oil change and a tire rotation and a safety check. Then I mentioned my tire light keeps coming on even though I put air in the tire. I was told that would be taken care of. It wasn’t. It continues to be a problem. The tire light was on from the second I drove away and it is still on. After all this time trying to figure this out, every single person who arrived after me had their cars taken back for service. I even watched while someone got in my car (which was in the front position in the bay) drive it out of the garage so that the cars behind me could go on their way to getting serviced. But I still waited. Now that my service contract is done with Toyota, I’m going to be looking at independent service centers to do my Prius work. That’s too bad since I’m a person who usually goes to a dealer for service. You blew it, Beaverton Toyota. You blew it. And it WASN’T the fault of the service person. She was obviously trying to do her best. It was the service manager’s fault. I blame him/her. So, you can tell him/her on my behalf that he/she blew it. More
Porsche 911 (Steve McQueen) I went to Beaverton Toyota to buy back a white Porsche 911 that I had purchased from a friend of Steve McQueen (the actor) 3 years hence. The Porsche I went to Beaverton Toyota to buy back a white Porsche 911 that I had purchased from a friend of Steve McQueen (the actor) 3 years hence. The Porsche was at a great price and both the sales manager and MJ treated my wife and I very well. There was no nonsense and they were striving to get the deal done quickly. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the sales manager who also helped with the deal but MJ knows who he is and he is also a great salesman and was very helpful. I don't say this very often about any car dealership but I would recommend Beaverton Toyota to any of my friends who would be in the market for a Toyota or just a used car in general. Thanks again Beaverton Toyota for all your help making my dream car come true. I also wanted to mention that Beaverton Toyota gave us a great price on our yellow Jeep Wrangler trade in as well. More
