This is the second time I am buying a car from Beaverton Toyota and Paul Kim. First experience was for Camry SE and it was very straightforward and smooth thanks to Paul Kim. I have owned/purchased more than 30 cars and this was the easiest, most pleasant experience I’ve ever had. My salesman, Adam, was amazing. Horrible experience trying to sell them my car. Filled out online form to get estimate for value of my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. I was contacted by customer rep Skylar Martin, who said they couldn't Filled out online form to get estimate for value of my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. I was contacted by customer rep Skylar Martin, who said they couldn't give a firm offer until they could see it. I explained my wife and I both work 2 jobs and would prefer a reasonably firm offer before taking time off work and driving an hour to the dealership. She said they usually offer at the top of the estimate range, if not more. She also said I would get a check for the purchase price before leaving the dealership, and I would only deal with one person for the entire transaction. When we arrived, we met the only bright spot in the interaction, Adam. He was very pleasant and did his best to help us. Another employee checked out my car, then gave Adam an offer to buy my car for $500 less than the low end of the estimate. I showed Adam the texts from Skylar showing the estimate range and statement about offering at top of range or more. He said Skylar was a new employee, took photos of the texts and showed them to the Sales Lead, Jay. Jay came to talk with us and said they had wasted our time. He said he didn't have the authority to change the offer, and only the sales manager or general manager could, neither of which were working. I explained my frustration and he said he could call the sales manager and see if he would change the offer. I asked him to do so, and he came back later and offered the minimum price on the estimate and a free tank of gas. We begrudgingly accepted the offer, and began the paperwork. Adam told us he wasn't sure how Jay would get us the free tank of gas, as they didn't have a fuel pump there. He then told us we'd have to wait for the check until they received the title from the finance company which could take up to 8 weeks! I explained that Skylar had told me I'd get the check before leaving the dealership and he said they couldn't do that. He checked with Jay and he also said we'd have to wait. I chose not to sell them my car, and took it home. We lost three hours of our time and wages, put an extra 100 miles on our two cars, and the cost of gas to drive there, but they wouldn't even honor their own promises and advertising. I strongly recommend not doing business with them! More

Technical knowledge, no pressure, answered all my questions and walked me through everything. This is how selling a vehicle is done. Traded up my 2021 SR5 Premium to a 2022 TRD ORP with KDSS. Feel like I won the 4Runner lottery, locating a 4Runner with KDSS has been difficult. Also, Shout out to Caitlin, Peter and Jay for being so chill and getting me started.
