what happened? After purchasing a Scion xB here in 2006 with regular service and maintenance, at my recent 140,000 service where the spark plugs were replaced, all o After purchasing a Scion xB here in 2006 with regular service and maintenance, at my recent 140,000 service where the spark plugs were replaced, all of a sudden overnight my car has an oil leak and the check engine light will not go off. There is no previous record of any problems with leaks or the engine system. All regular service interval recommendations have been made and maintained. It seems to me that there must have been an new or angry technician that worked on the car. It seems to have been abused or something to me. The service manager Brian, is great, but something wrong happened. At the end of this appointment where the problems started, I was just told that my car is fine, and asked that it would be helpful on the survey to mention that I was asked to schedule my next appointment. Well, yes I had to schedule a next appointment and I had to pay over $100 for a computer diagnostic and was told, oh well your car is just getting old. I of course, am very disappointed that the condition of my car has gone like night and day, from care and reliability to, I guess, oh well whatever condition. Something has happened so now, I drive with the check engine light on at all times. As I said...something unknown happened at the 140,000 service appointment! Toyota's are known for long life and I suspect a 'very heavy foot' was involved in the maintenance of my car. More
